We visited Sleepy Hollow for the first time to see the Halloween shows and were looking for a good place to eat in town. A man we spoke to said he was Greek and he recommended Santorini . Glad we took his advice. Alexandra, one of the owners came to check on us and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The Orzo soup and the Greek Salad with Feta and Grape Leaves was authentic and very tasty! Next time will have to try the other delicious things on the menu!

The grilled octopus could have been wonderful, but it was waaaay to salty. I could pick up granules of salt on the plate. The salad was more iceberg lettuce that anything. I had wished I'd ordered a small salad. I took home a bed of lettuce after eating a small portion of my salad. My husband's side salad looked better than my meal. (Large salad)

Fried Zucchini was delicious, as well as lamb gyro.
Lamb chomps beyond overrated, in my opinion don’t order it
I am from out of town and ordered a Greek salad to go as well as hummus. I went into the restaurant to pick up the order. The atmosphere was very nice and spotlessly clean. I did not care for the greek salad or the hummus. Here is my advice: cut the tomatoes in quarters it looks nicer, use romaine not iceberg lettuce. The hummus was bitter tasting. The pita bread was fresh and warm. Visit Taverna Kyma in Boca Raton Florida and find out their hummus recipe. It's a winner and you won't be sorry
Food was not great. Large menu but many items are a protein with feta and spinach. Not much variety. And the taste was sort of mediocre. Nice staff and pleasant environment but the food was not great.

I give Santorini five stars in every category. The restaurant was renovated not too long ago and it looks spectacular. In addition to that, the food is top quality. The salad dressing and the Lemon Chicken Soup are my favorite menu items along with the red sauce for the Chicken Souvlaki dinner. Great spot not only to order takeout from but to dine-in as well. Five stars all around.

The service at santorini is excellent but the taste of the gyros and chicken souvlakis isn't all that great. I feel like the other take out places in merrick have far better quality gyros. A bit bland.
