The service at santorini is excellent but the taste of the gyros and chicken souvlakis isn't all that great. I feel like the other take out places in merrick have far better quality gyros. A bit bland.

Really good whole, fresh fish!! I always get the whole branzino and it is soo delicious. My husband gets the flounder or lamb shanks and loves both. Just had Red Snapper Santorini and it was great. All meals are served with a family style Greek Salad and Pita Bread.

Very disappointed..went on a friend's recommendation and took out of town guests there for dinner this past Saturday night ....the salad wasn't bad ...I ordered the lentil soup...it was very very thick but actually the worst part it was cold ...not even a little warm ..I sent it back ..the waitress was very nice ...a few minutes later she brought another bowl that was clearly lentil soup but looked completely different ...it was very watery with a very thin consistency....they then brought our the gyro platter .....all cold ....had to send it back ...came back luke warm ....the only thong that was remotely hot was the fried zucchini chips ....they were good .. the place was not busy at all ....this is unacceptable...especially since their prices are far from cheap ...atmosphere is nice ....so if you don't mind cold food and love sending everything back to be warmed up...then this is the place for you ...for me ..not so much .

This place has gone downhill. It is awful. Horrible greek salad contained the worst and most inauthentic mass produced feta cheese they could find along with GMO iceberg lettuce leaves with unripened tomatoes proudly perched on top. What an embarrassment for a GREEK RESTAURANT to serve as its SIGNATURE salad. Stuffed peppers with beef should be renamed stuffed peppers with NO BEEF as the rice to beef ratio was 4:1 in favor of rice. Lentil soup was good. Pita bread sucked. Was once a proud family business with decent food. Now it is a fraud of a greek restaurant. More like a bad diner.

Excellent food and service. I took off a star because they don’t reservations over the weekend. Our party of four arrived a little before seven and were not seated until 7:30 pm. We will definitely return but only on a weekday when reservations are taken when they aren’t busy which makes no sense to me. My Pastitsio was unbelievably delicious, and its not easy to cook. Gyro was great as was the lentil soup and greek salad.

They don't take reservations. Called and asked what the wait was. Gentleman was polite and only said approximately 15 minutes for 3 people. We ended up there at the perfect time because shortly after a lot of people came in after us. Sat in a booth, lots of room. Waters were refilled constantly. Lots of menu choices! The chicken kebob dinner was absolutely delicious!! Juicy tender chicken and same with the gyro dinner! It also came with a salad which was yummy and they put the dressing on the table for you which I liked. I had a 20% off coupon from the mail if you use cash to pay and got almost $15 off my check. First time here and will definitely come back. Very yummy food!!!

I walked in and ordered a gyro , a chicken skewer meal …and asked for potato fries and received (4) boiled lemon full potatoes.THE FOOD HERE IS AWFUL AND THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. There were 2 tables occupied on a Sunday night at 5:30pm . I WON’T BEING GOING BACK HERE AGAIN …….Their food is substandard and I just saw my dog refuse it….and she refuses nothingShe threw up and soDid IDON’t GO HERE
Santorini is a winner in my book! The food, the service and the decor are excellent! I love their Greek salad with chicken souvlaki. I can't help but order it every time we go. The lentil soup is amazing as well. The servers are always so attentive too. One of my favorite places to dine out.
