Trying to kill time in the neighborhood and located this gem via Yelp - it did not disappoint - I luckily walked in during Happy Hour and got a seat at the bar - 5 minutes later the bar was packed and I see why, can we mention HH is until 7pm! The drinks amazing!! the HH food menu great choices - I had Philly roll, rock shrimp tempura, calamari all WINNERS - the service is very attentive, even tho I'm not local to the area - whenever I'm passing thru I'll be stopping in

So the food was actually pretty decent (after we microwaved it) but the delivery service was horrid. This place is 3.5 miles away and while I understand things can get busy, 2 hours is a bit much. A call into the place 1.5 hours from order placement netted out into a, "sorry we'll check with the kitchen". Half hour later the guy shows up and lo and behold, food is stone cold. Four thumbs down

Delicious special lobster and shrimp sushi roll. The pepper tuna mango salad was also good. Nice ambience and service. Would come back to try other sushi rolls.

The manager/ hostess with ash blonde highlighted hair, had a horrible attitude and did not greet us which is fine however a couple that's privileged came in she greet them nicely with a big nice smile. My 9 yo daughter asked me why was the lady so rude to us? I said I don't know maybe cause we look poor ? or we are not the privileged people ? I don't know what was it but this establishment have some rude workers the hostess or manager. Her attitude absolutely changed when other privileged people walked in. I am not a person of color, so I don't know what was it picks and choose who she should be nice to ? I am not going to give my business to such establishment. My bill was $40.20 gave her a $50 she decided not to give back the change which was 60 cents which is not much but she didn't even ask if I wanted it which I thought was rude , is that how establishments are now ? Keep the change without asking ? don't know any establishment that does that. The food was not good and with the service it was not worth it.I would not recommend this establishment and will not return.

Tried to place a $125+ order through website bc they were offering a 15% discount for online orders. Online menu was not up to date. Called restaurant to ask how to handle. At first they insisted roll we wanted was on their site. It was not. After being placed on hold for several minutes, I was then advised to order separate rolls of equal price and make a notation in the comment box to sub with the rolls we wanted. After finalizing order, I wanted to option pick up at restaurant vs. have delivered to home---but the pick-up option was not available via the online order. I called back the restaurant. Was placed on hold for nearly 10-minutes before I hung up and called back. They had no answers for how to address. If you're going to set-up online ordering you should make sure your online menu is up to date and consumers have the option to pick-up at restaurant OR have delivered to home.

I am a regular at Taka and there’s a reason for it. The sushi is consistently top notch and the service is excellent! I’ve had almost everything on the menu and there wasn’t one dish I did not thoroughly enjoy. Amy, the owner is always hands-on and definitely knows how to run a restaurant as good as anyone does.

5 stars. Rock shrimp was spicy and crispy. AWESOME. Sex on beach roll was wonderful . Not fishy at all and very flavorful. Gyoza was top tier. Well done .

Just ate here for dinner and the food and service was amazing! Had a mai tai to drink, a spicy crunchy salmon roll and the chicken teriyaki and it all was incredible! Definitely going to come back here. ?
