Was looking for an affordable AYCE sushi spot near my house and I stumbled across Yummy 1 Sushi which is considerably less expensive compared to the surrounding AYCE sushi market (roughly $27-30 per person) at just $21 per person. It would’ve been silly of me to not want to try it at that price point. I have to admit, I was fairly skeptical of the quality of the establishment considering the low price point. The restaurant was empty when we entered and it seemed like business...
Good, and inexpensive takeout with plenty of options. They serve good portions and the fish is of good quality. For a small shop in Merrick, it has everything you could want for a quick sushi lunch, or dining at home.
