Visiting AYCE Mongolian BBQ was at the top of my very small bucket list. TODAY was the day that me and a couple of family members were finally able to make the dream of a visit to AYCE Mongolian come true! What an honor to meet Anthony, the grill master. He wanted everything to be perfect for us…..and everything was perfect! The food was yummy, very fresh, and delicious! The food bar offerings were plentiful, there are sauces galore, veggies galore and even a salad bar that comes with your meal. The restaurant was super clean, very comfy, and an absolutely amazing value. We drove from New York City out to this location in Middle Island as my family wanted to bucket list this dining extravaganza with me. They were also super impressed, super fed, and loved their food and the entire experience. Thank you to Anthony and to the nice woman who also worked there today. WOW!

Sometimes trying out new places is not fun. The minute we walked in we knew it wouldn’t go as planned, although we were very excited to try this place out by taking out my boyfriend’s aunt from out of town. The minute we walked in I almost tripped because the floors were so sticky. Most veggies at the salad bar and for the bowl were moldy . My boyfriend flagged down our waitress and she only removed moldy tomatoes but not the carrots celery or eggplant that were beyond expired. We stayed because we traveled about 40 minutes just to try out a new restaurant. We were highly disappointed and will not be coming back, no wonder the place was completely empty.

I met my SIL today for lunch at 12:30; we were the only customers. We were excited to try the grill option. 1st the salad bar with slim pickings and grimy dressing bottles. 2nd, we filled bowls with meat, noodles and veggies and waited at the grill until I went looking for an employee. While we stood there we noticed the trays of food weren't being kept cold nor was the grill preheated. Once the cook arrived we were handed our plates rather quickly, we sat down, even the broccoli wasn't hot and we decided after a few bites it could be unsafe to finish the sub par food. And the $12 drink I ordered was overly sweet and tasted like a mocktail. We were both extremely disappointed! Thankful my SIL is always a good time because the restaurant we tried this time was a bust and we totally wasted our money! I don't understand what happened today but won't be back!

It's a nice place. It was a late weeknight, so I did feel the service level i have gotten during like a Saturday, but everyone was pleasant enough, I'll go back again, I like the concept.

If you like good food and not wasting money, I don’t recommend going here. It was quite an experience, one that was more amusing and mildly horrifying, than delicious or enticing.. it’s a well intended venture, a rebranded Asian expansion of a crazy crepe in an old Friendlys kitchen. Attached to the Meltogy. A conglomerate mishmash of subpar, cheap ingredients thrown together on display to be cooked on a giant wok grill in a hot corner by a very inexperienced young man who fed my friend raw shrimp, burnt the tiniest scallops I’ve ever encountered and had a wildly varied cook on the beef each time it was served. He was a delight though, very pleasant young man just likely overwhelmed. Overpriced for a strange salad bar circle… and there was also either vomit or poop in the sink in the women’s bathroom which was one of the most disgusting moments of the visit.
I felt for the staff, they mean well, they are kind and mostly attentive, until the end when everyone in the entire place vanished and we were alone in the restaurant waiting to pay.. actually had to go and find someone to pay. Overall, It was quite an experience. Rubbery noodles, a sparse offering of poorly presented ingredients that looked like they’d seen better days and a strange combination of offerings that are anything but a Mongolian BBQ.. the sauce bar had many choices, but overall, I tend to avoid this place and any other this combination of failing chain restaurants.

This was the second time trying a Mongolian grill, and compared to the one in North Carolina, this one is just not doing it for me.

The food was fresh. Staff was constantly checking for cleanliness of the buffet area, temperature and supply. Variety of vegetables available to mix with the meat and noodles was great! The grill guys were great with cooking. They were turning the meat often to make sure it didn’t dry. Each of my plates was cooked perfect. The sauce selection definitely had something for everyone. Our waiter was great with checking on us, refilling drinks and removing plates, The concepts was definitely cool and we will definitely be back!

Not a great experience. The food was edible and the waitress was sweet. Some of the vegetables and noodles seemed like they were sitting there for some time. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. With the buffet for 2, 1 cocktail and a tip was around $100. There are better choices then here for a casual dinner.

Watched this boy dump all the meat and seafood I ordered under the grill. Then He had the audacity to ask me if I wanted it? Why would I pay 24 for take out and then watch you waste it. I pray he was making a plate for himself?!Young kids with no work ethic will destroy your business
