Great to see clearly marked vegan options on the menu but disappointing that most of the "vegan chicken" dishes lacked flavor. The texture of what seems to be soy/tofu-based "chicken" looked good and had a slight grilled flavor, but the sauces and seasonings were practically non-existent on any of our dishes. Bummer but hopefully they will improve over time based on feedback!
I absolutely love Mongolian food and was in the area doing some shopping when I stumbled on this restaurant! I was so excited to try their food. The food was subpar and there were no rice options which is a main part of the Mongolian cuisine. There are not many options in terms of having side foods unless you plan to order appetizers separately off the regular menu. The service was awesome and the fun guy cooking the food on the grill totally made my day. This is an all you can eat restaurant and may I kindly suggest adding some more side options to be included at the buffet section. There should be more cooks as well when service gets heavier. Staff that work here are kind and nice. Please add rice to your menu as well. The noodles itself were just ok and needed a little more seasoning added to the veggies and flavor to more of the items.
Tasty food and very friendly and attentive staff!
Food not fresh
Food is good, but if you don’t clear your plate their menu says that they will weigh your leftovers and charge you a fee based upon what you don’t eat. When you call them out on this on their facebook page, they send you a nasty DM reply and block you. I will not be back! Poor customer service and def not a place to take kids to. Unless you shovel all their food down their gullets to avoid the stingy fee.
Been wanting to try this place. Everything on the bar seemed slushy/frosty and wilted. Figured that may have been because it was empty. Floors were very sticky everywhere. Silverware and cloth napkins were dirty. They would be better off with paper napkins. Every plate made tasted watered down. Wasnt sure if it was the guy cooking it with to much water or the slushy vegetables. Was scared to not eat the watered down, chewy chicken food because of the extra charges if you don't eat it. Unfortunately won't be going back.
What an interesting experience. The food is very good. You definitely get what you’re paying for. The service was top-notch. They couldn’t be more accommodating. It was so refreshing to do something different. Definitely go here you won’t be sorry.
The All you can eat experience, where you pick each ingredient was great for the whole family. Sauces added so much flavor to the stirfry, watching it all be made at the Grill was even better. Service was great from start to finish.
The recent reviews that mentioned sticky floors and not fresh ingredients were spot on. We just walked in to AYCE Mongolian Grill hoping for a good experience and after looking at the ingredients bar, just walked out. On the positive side, the service person was pleasant, but he couldn’t understand why we left. I’m hoping a good Mongolian bbq open somewhere on LI. When done right, it’s a great food experience.
So we were really excited to go tho this place. It wasn’t terrible but I’m nervous I’m going to get sick now. The beef definitely needs to be better quality. Advertises buy 1 get 1 drinks. We werent offered a second but also didn’t ask bec we wanted to leave. We shouldn’t have had to ask. We like Hibachi style eating but this was a little different. Meltology is next to it. Same waitress.

Mongolian WHAT??? It's absolutely TERRIBLE!!! I ordered spicy garlic beef with chicken & shrimp, it came dry white rice, tough dry bland beef and chicken, with these tough pre cooked bagged shrimp also those flat string beans litterally freaking STINK I know for a fact it was left way to long highly disappointed, even my strawberry ice tea wasn't strawberry it was unsweetened ice tea like wth man, Never again!!
As soon as I walked in I knew it wasn’t going to be the best. We got there right at opening and the place was dirty. Half of the veggies were slimmy and wilted. The meat wasn’t even cooked all the way when served to us and the cook had on dirty clothes. We honestly took one bite, paid and left. 0/10 recommend
Food is ok. Place is a bit small snd difficult to move around. But definitely NOT the first mongolian grill on Long Island. There have been many others in the past
The hostess was very nice and since it was our 1st time we didn’t know the procedure. It was very easy and the cook also came over to us and asked how everything was. We will definitely be coming back with friends.
Enjoyed our dinner from here. They have several vegan options with tofu and chik’un as well as build your own. You can pick the type of noodle you’d like or rice and sauce. I got the teriyaki and my husband got the Korean bbq. Both very good! Will be back
