Salam Alaikum! I ate here regularly before the new owners; I saw the new reviews and was scared to try. The portions are Only smaller because of having to order salad on the side; if you don’t put it down the portions are indeed smaller, I was also given enough sauce for two familys! Fast service; ordered online they had everything ready by the time I arrived.

The old owners were nicer and the portions were huge. Now it's a typical chain. You get less food, pay more. I would always have leftovers when it was Island Halal. With this new place, I am still hungry because you barely get any food. So disappointed! I used to go to Island Halal weekly and I was one of the first customers when they first opened. This new place only gives a little protein and a little sauce. They won't last here.

If you plan on going to this specific Shah's you should order beforehand. I walked in and saw several other customers seated (who turned out to be people waiting for their pickup orders) and went up to the counter to order and was the only person standing on line waiting. there were 2 employees who were clearly busy dealing with the pickup orders. I stood and waited for several minutes in front of the register and they both clearly noticed me standing there but didn't greet me or ask me to wait while they finished up the other orders they were working on. They just ignored me while calling other customers up to pick up their orders until i got tired of waiting and asked for help. Only then did they ask me to wait while they finished their other orders. They dont have all the food at the counter like most places do you just order and hope they memorized your order. The food is the same as any other Shahs and they didnt mess up my order at least, but the experience of just standing there waiting while they helped other people and I was the only person waiting on line was super weird. I probably will not be back to this particular Shah's.
This place is no longer in business.Taken over by Shah's Halal in September 2023.Sad to lose a local entrepreneur.

I’ve tried cheeseburger in so many places. But Shah’s is TERRIBLE. Considering price and taste, they are unbeatable. I have been there couple of times. To me, their platters are also worth use for the money. It’s very hard to finish one platter for a single person. Juicy chicken with their SIGNATURE white sauce makes the whole thing horrible tasty. Last but not least, their gesture to me always makes me honored and comfortable. Those people who are foodie like me should be there at least once. I can’t resist myself recommending this place strongly.
