This is the second time I ordered from Rico’s and the rice was not fully cooked. The avocado salad is good but it is too wet with too much dressing. Also, the prices have gone way too high.
I absolutely love this restaurant and have no problem driving over an hour just to enjoy their food. That’s how much I usually look forward to it. But this last visit left me disappointed. I ordered 5 Hawaiian empanadas and 2 chicken, and as I was eating one of the Hawaiian empanadas, I found a piece of plastic in my food. Rico Chicken Restaurant consistently delivers excellent food at a reasonable price, with a service team that genuinely listens and follows your order instructions—something many places overlook. Their yuca fries are a standout, crispy and flavorful, and the chicken cutlet is always cooked to perfection. Some items on the menu are a miss, but for the most part is good. A reliable spot for great meals and attentive service.
