I have lived in Middletown since 2019, and have been looking for someplace to make this simple chicken cutlet sandwich. AMBER made it perfect! I felt like I was in heaven. PERFECT! She is my new GO TO SUB SHOP! She also made me feel like a SUPERSTAR while I was there, friendly great atmosphere! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

But the biggest issue is the owner Amber herself, she recently bought garage next door, so I brought my car to get an oil change and my car then started stalling, I went back to talk to the mechanic that worked on it for more information and she interrupted her own employee speaking loudly almost screaming over the mechanic. She was giving me her diagnosis. Even though she's not a mechanic and didn't work on my car. "I asked her if she had worked on my car" and that set her off, she started screaming nonsense, claiming that "I was giving her a look" and also said " I better not give her that look again" She's very aggressive. Worst customer service I have ever seen by a business owner. I highly don't recommend this place because the food is bad and the car service isn't up to standards. My car was damaged under their care and instead of trying to make it right she gets defensive and aggressive. So I am taking this issue to small claims court to solve this matter. But as warning to anyone else don't bring your vehicle to this mechanic.

Never again!This subway shop is about a five minute walk from where I live. I have been living in Middletown for about two months now, love it, great people, great place. But nothing is perfect of course.I have been walking over to Amber’s when I might need something, coffee, bread, bananas, they have these cool little fruit pies. Sandwiches are pretty good. You know, the usual stuff that you would buy at such a grocery store. However, every time I have been in there, every time, Amber looks like she is about to have a nervous breakdown. She always seems to be on the verge of tears and always, always gives me dirty looks, always.Yesterday was the last straw. I went to buy some soda. Same crummy treatment, same dirty looks. I paid with my debit card. Instead of handing my card back to me, Amber ‘flicked’ it at me. I was going to say something but I told myself, ‘why bother, just don’t come here anymore, that’s all.’ I don’t know what her problem is. Maybe she doesn’t like the way I look? (I’m an average looking middle aged guy). Maybe she’s mistaking me for someone else...? Who knows.Anyway, it always makes you feel bad when you patronage a business, you’re giving them money! And they treat you like garbage. And this is a small business. I always try and support small businesses.I also noticed that there we some other reviews that mentioned her attitude and rudeness, so it’s not only me.If Amber is so miserable all the time, maybe she should do something else.Amber’s Sub Shop lost a good, regular customer. I will be spending my money somewhere else.
I love going to Amber's sun shop. I go every day for breakfast, sometimes for lunch?. Her and her staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. Not to mention it's always clean!!!!!!!!. My son is obsessed with her subs. Win win for me. OH and no BURNT coffee EVER. LOL The best way to start my day.

Love Ambers I stop there Once a week in morning . Amber makes me crazy custom breakfast sandwich for me and coworkers and dosent slow her down a bit . And at 630 am she makes me lunch at same time . She does a fantastic job . And while i wait a few reg customers keep me entertained . LOL and in a small place she has everthing you need cant say anything negative about her place
