I’m writing this review to share a very upsetting experience I had at this store involving the store manager. As someone with a disability who relies on a trained service dog, I expect to be treated with the same dignity and respect as any other customer. Unfortunately, that was not the case during my recent visit.
From the moment I entered, the store manager was visibly uncomfortable and made unwarranted comments about my service dog. Instead of being accommodating or even neutral, they questioned my need for a service animal in a way that was inappropriate, invasive, and frankly, discriminatory. It was embarrassing and completely uncalled for.
Service dogs are protected under the ADA, and I should not have to defend or explain my rights to a manager who clearly lacks training on how to handle such situations. Not only did this ruin my shopping experience, but it also left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome.
I hope upper management sees this and takes immediate steps to train staff—especially those in leadership positions—on disability rights and proper customer service. No one should ever be made to feel ashamed or harassed for having a service animal.
Until real changes are made, I will not be returning—and I encourage others who value inclusivity and respect to do the same.

I usually get the same meal via door dash I get one every 2 weeks but i decided last night to order my chicken sandwich well I received an over cooked Hamburger. So I phoned the manager, he made it right he gave me $20 off my meal. (Good looks Christian). I decided to give it another round tonight this bun is so soggy don’t blame the coleslaw. This was vindictive. my onion rings are over cooked and wet. Chicken breast is overcooked it’s hard. Would you feed this to a dog I wouldn’t. dear chef cooking I know you either can’t follow directions because I understand if you were swamp (busy for you simply folks) you weren’t that busy . tonight I guess you got upset because the food is messed up again. I bet you were mad I complained my food is messed up. sorry if you don’t like your job there are others. In Middletown I understand folks don’t have people skills. No worries I’ll email corporate in the morning. Maybe someone needs to get retrained on how to cook. I don’t want no one to get fired but I paid cash for this food again, this wasn’t free government food you lost a customer and I’ll tell everyone don’t eat hear because your not that friend in the neighborhood.

The lunch specials are great and the price includes two people. The food is very good. Children eat free on certain Holidays.

The manager always says after every bad review they will try to make the experience better but the experience was still horrible said it would be 15 minutes to get seated but took like 35 minutes. The seating was horrible We sat by the wall with all the high school teams around the area and it was covered with people's drawings and as shown in the picture the floor wasn't cleaned neither were the seats. For appetizers we had pretzels which had WAY too much salt and were nothing special, The food took like 45 minutes to come and the waiter didn't come to the table until then so I had to wait like 25 minutes for a refill of my water and when they finally brought out the food the chicken tenders were the smallest I've ever seen and they messed up my burger so we had to send back that and the chicken tenders even when they brought the food back out the fries were unseasoned and mediocre at best burger and was cooked to well done when I asked for medium well because they didn't allow me to get medium rare and I could still taste the pickles which I absolutely hate overall just the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant do not ever recommend

Overall a really bad experience with Applebees. Used to be a frequent customer but sadly, all of their locations have been declining. We got to our table (which was sticky) and there were flies around it. To make it worse, the menus were falling apart. If you think this is the worst part, you’re mistaken. We ordered our drinks and after waiting half an hour, we got our waters (the beer we ordered never came), which had DEAD ants in them. We waited a bit longer and our food didn’t come, so we just left. Probably one of the worst locations i’ve been to. The service and atmosphere is terrible, and the restaurant is incredibly dirty. The waiter looked like she hated her job, and after visiting this location, I can understand why. If you’re thinking of coming to this location, you’re better off just going to the nearby Panera.

Came in at 11 at night which is 1 hour before they close which it says online they close at 12 and they told me and my group that they were already closed and that they were cleaning even though people were still in the restaurant eating
