I'm from out of town and I was looking for some decent sushi and I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I actually called in the takeout order but absolutely huge portions for the amount I paid. I couldn't even finish it all. I got the sushi and sashimi platter and absolutely amazing.

I'm really shocked this place has such high ratings. The food I got last night was not as good as I expected it to be. The fried rice was so salty! I've never ever had fried rice that was salty. The red Thai curry was a paste, I've also never had it like that before...

Second time at this restaurant. Waiter was really nice and asked if we had any allergies and catered to our kids. However, the host or owner is not friendly. He was not welcoming and made me feel uncomfortable. He act as if we were going to do something wrong. The food was good. If it was for the waiter and the food, I would go back but because of the owner. I won’t be back. Hopefully, owner would learn from his staff and treat their guest better.

I do agree with others, it's a shame you can't in here, but at least they quick to notice customers at window. Plus it is bit hard for getting down the though the intercom. So I placed my order and waited, would called it, but had no menu to order ahead with. So after the wait, spicy rock shrimp, was decent in the sense they did not bathe it sauce like many others do, and shrimp was a decent size, considering they cooked them to micro sauce. Shrimp was pretty tender. Now spicy crunch white tuna roll, I was bit bummed, really not spicy period, the filling was flavorful and good, but no spicy. Sake bomb roll, it had the expected amount of lobster as one would, and pretty much good with fried crust, and plenty of sauce. It was great roll out of the two.

Kinda disappointed. By the way, right now it is take out only, which is what I wanted. Ordered Thai Red curry tofu, Thai Shrimp Curry Noodles, Lemongrass soup and Spring rolls. Nothing was spicy enough. Not enough sauce. More sauce might have, might have improved the flavor. Lemongrass soup was OK, just turns out too lemony, which its' supposed to be. (OK), just wasn't my thing. I expected the two dinners to have some zing, it all tasted like some pile of food. Ugh. Tofu pieces were very light and fun (one plus). When I found the sauce, at the bottom and soaked the tofu, it helped some. Meals came with miso soup and I expected a light delicate flavor, however, they slipped some fish sauce in. Didn't like it. Spring Rolls? No flavor if it wasn't for dipping sauces. I know the place is well liked. For me? Forty Dollars of Bland. I gave three stars because there is lots more on the menu that might be really tasty. Thank you.

Drove over 30 mins away yesterday to find that you can't even go in to this place. The door is blocked and you can only order take out from a small window. Wish that would have been written somewhere either on their webpage or on Google maps before traveling. Disappointed and did not order.

When we went they were only doing takeout from a side window but do not be deterred or dismayed! The food is on point!!! I had the veggie green curry and coconut soup...both totally hit the spot. I especially enjoyed the coconut lemongrass soup with shrimp. Very tasty! Will definitely go to Asian 211 Bistro again!
