Order brooklyn pizza and sausage, peppers onions stromboli.The pizza crust is fantastic. The sauce and mozzarella are great.The stromboli was not great. The peppers and onions were basically raw. That was a turn off. I really like their pizza but not all of it is wood fired cooked. They have a regular oven too. One of the new hires isn't very customer friendly. He spoke about us to the manager in Spanish (we don't know Spanish) but he used a few English words so we knew he was speaking about us. He said lies and over charged us.

Went to carbonella to get a slice of pizza and a drink, came out to $5 or $6. Owner told me there was a limit for the credit card machine of $15 and since he didn't have an ATM, I asked him if he wanted me to go get cash, which he replied with complaints about my generation and using cards. I then told him that's just the way it is nowadays, then he responded with "so you're telling me I can go to Home Depot right now to buy a chair and a rope with my debit card?" I said "yeah I guess so" he then said..."well you should go do that then"Yes, I was told to go kill myself.....by the owner, for simply trying to pay with a debit card. Could never recommend going here. Food is awful, owner changes prices and credit card limit on the spot, is verbally abusive to employees. Beware.

New owners.. great people. great authentic sicilian food...tastes like my moms food...pizza is the best in orange county and trust me i tried them all !!! Btw i was born i sicily...i know my food

A man who worked there approached me saying "um excuse me I have other customers can you deal with that" all because my son was crying. My son is a year and 10 months. I was so taken back by his rude unprofessional comment. I wouldn't even give this place one star. I would not suggest anyone who has children to come to this establishment either. Obviously not kid friendly!

I have never left a bad review before. My mother and I brought my 2 yr old here for lunch. She ordered 2 slices of pizza to share with my son. One slice was good but the second slice tasted strongly of chemicals or cleaning products. We weren't too upset and she kindly let the owner know that the pizza had a funny taste. She said she didn't want it comped from the check, that she just wanted to make him aware for sake of other customers. He went NUTS. he was screaming in her face about how he had never had a complaint in 40 years or business and she was crazy and told us to leave and never come back. He scared my son. His behavior was unacceptable. It's been an hour and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. You'd better believe that we won't be returning.
