Famous Deli-Licious Italian Pork Store

Amazing. Sad they're selling. Even sadder I just found this place.

I will start off by saying the two people who were behind the counter were friendly, but friendliness can only go so far. I had ordered some deli meat, I ordered a pound and a half of deli meat and a pound of cheese. That came to $30, and thats super expensive for deli meat that was supposed to be on sale. The turkey was listed as 9.99 a pound while the spiced ham was listed as 7.99 and the cheese price I didnt see listed (these prices I did see were listed on their window). I get that those prices vary slightly depending on how much I was given. I had ordered a pound of the turkey and half pound of the spiced ham, plus the pound of cheese. But guess what, the meat WASN'T FRESH! I got home and went to make a sandwich and the rotten smell from the turkey was disgusting, I have no idea how you couldn't notice that while slicing it. Im livid because I was already overcharged, but the fact that the cold cuts were not even edible made it so much worse. I tried to go there the next day, but of course they were closed and that was my only day off. Such a waste of $30 for cold cuts that I never got to eat.

$17 hero is a treat for husband and I. Worth it. This is our go to for the best hero around...store employees are always knowledgeable, kind, and store is clean anytime I go in.

The food here is amazing. Everything I have had here is freshly made and tastes like it is. my favorite is the home made Mottzarella. Hands down the best Mottzarella I've ever had, whether its marinated, made into burrata, or just plain Mottzarella; it's always superb.

Italian combo and chicken parm heroes were amazing. Great shop with local, hand-made sausages and mozzarella. Highly recommended!

Everything is awesome - best Italian deli ever ! Homemade fresh Mozzarella, fig flavored balsamic, burrata, fresh focaccia with arugula, fresh sausage, ravioli, etc etc - try this place you will not be disappointed

Food is amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered Italian hero sandwiches, sausage rolls, rice balls, marinated mozzarella, and Chicken parmigiana hero. We will definitely be ordering again!

Great Italian staples & prepared foods in Middletown. Fresh mozzarella, ricotta and variety of sausages. Awesome prepared foods and sandwiches. I've also had fried zucchini flowers which you cannot find even at Arthur Ave in the Bronx. This place is a hidden gem!

I'm Italian and I grew up in and change section down in Jersey this place reminds me of the old great place you can find anything you want

Never had food there that disappointed! Almost always a line but worth the wait. Staff and customers friendly. The balsamic reduction is a must buy and YES it is amazing on strawberries !

Salads in counter arent always fresh. Sometimes they are sitting there for almost 2 weeks. Dead roaches on floor. Olive oil isnt made there. It is 2 different store bought mixed together put in his bottles with labels he had made. Such a scam.

Great place. Helpful stagg. Quick and efficient. Little pricey ($2 more a pound) compared to other Italian specialty markets
