While I did not see any of myself. I did witness four different groups of people complain of cockroaches in the salad bar. I did watch one couple get up and leave. And the male waiter practically chased them to the door asking for a tip. The couple politely told them that they did not eat after seeing the cockroach and would not be leaving a tip. Let me tell you about the horrible experience today at the fortune buffet in Middletown ny . As I was eating, I found a bug in my food. I bought it to the attention of the servers. Whom inspected it then went got another server who looked at it and then went and got a manager . The manger comes and took a look at it and tired to offer us 15% percent off when my tummy was turned and I no longer wanted to eat she took the bug off the napkin and tried to hide and discard of it . Then bring me to the counter trying to negotiate how much I paid and what to give back . She didn’t even remember how much she charged me , which goes to show it’s not a fixed rate per person . I had one plate before discovering the bug in my meal she tried to refund me 8 dollars out of a 63 tab. When I went back to retrieve the bug and warn other people in the restaurant she snatched out my hand and continued to try to hide it . . And wouldn’t let me capture a picture of it . First and last time going to this place I feel like I should warn others .

A little pricey, I thought that the food was just ok, but the roaches absolutely loved it!They came running right up to the table. They licked their lips and begged like my 100lb Rottweiler. Thankfully they're small and don't eat much. By the time we were ready for dessert they were full and left us alone. When it was time to go the waiter posted up in front of us in the classic Daniel son crane technique and demanded his tip. Good times, lotta laughs, bring friends!

This buffet is located behind Walmart in Middletown NY. It's disgusting. The tables and floor are sticky. The food always taste old and I swear they just reheat the food they didn't use the previous night. Also can I tell you I have been chased through the buffet line by the front cashier loudly asking why I only left a $3 tip?!?! Ummm because it's a Buffet and I have to serve myself. I'm not joking the lady literally came up to me in the buffet line to call me out. I literally laughed because I couldn't believe she was asking. We LOVE Chinese food but will never return. If you're looking for a good Chinese alternative try Fuji in the mall or Mr. Sushi both are much much better.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times over the years and it has always been good. I too can't understand the negative reviews. Are those people talking about the same place? For one thing the ambience is cheerful and attractive. For another it is always busy, andthe food is always fresh. Of course one can't expect too many expensive ingredients in an economical place like this but they seem to have a good chef, tasty food, and even a few things that are not seen on other Chinese menus. the sushi bar is ample and I love the roast duck, and seafood alternatives. Tasty treatment of vegetables too. So much to choose from. It is good to have a place to go too where you know ahead of time what you will pay, and it is not out of budget.

My family and I go here often and they always have a few dishes that are different. I like going here because you pay one time and eat all you want. It was $20 per person. I tried the baked crab, sesame chicken, dumplings, i tried this little tiny yellow cake and it was very light and fluffy and had a coconut taste which was nice. There was nothing here I didn’t really like. Always love eating the fruit and taking opportunities to try new foods. I tried muscles for the first time and it was interesting lol

unless you got lomein or other stuff like salad or food everything like sweet& sour chicken coconut shrimp and other meat products were dried out plus after i paid when i entered the building when i paid they were trying to force me to tip i have no problem tipping in other restaurants but if i only have1 drink and use on plate i will not tip my 22yr felt so bad he gave them a $15 tip would not returnVegetarian options: more than enough
