Pleasantly surprised to enjoy a meal so much! The restaurant is clean, ample parking and casual atmosphere. The menu has something to please everyone. The prices are competitive and fair. I’ve been here a few times and my go to is the mofongo with pork belly! Delicious
I just had food picked up and I don't know what happened to this place. The beans taste like dirty water. The rice has no flavor. I've literally never had worse beans in my life. The chicken is tender but that's about it. I hate when I waste my heart on money on a meal out and it sucks. I can't afford that

We asked for the meat to be done medium.. and the beans definitely seemed to have been canned. Our waitress was also with attitude.

Took my two sisters who have never eaten Latin food for lunch. The empanadas were too oily. Tasted like they were precooked and then put back into the fryer when ordered. The shrimp mofogongoitos were delicious! Not dried out like many mofongos. Nice job!
My sisters each had arroz con pollo which was plentiful and tasty. I had the arroz con camarrones and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor, portion size and size of the shrimp. Muy bien!!!
Service was good.
Prices were acceptable especially for the amount of food we had.
We went at noon on a Wednesday and was surprised that there were not many customers. I hope that they continue to thrive and gain a larger following.
The empanadas are the only reason for a 4 star versus a 5 star.

Ordered a Cuban and was disappointed. The bread was soft like they just sliced it open and put the stuff inside. If you’ve had a Cuban before you know the bread should be pressed down to make it a little toasted .
Just tried this place for lunch today the worst in Middletown stewed chicken had no stew the empanadas dry and flavorless they need chef Ramsey today unreal how bad it was and the black taste like water and beans omg stay away.
?? well, aside from it raining and I fell going to pick up the food, all drenched and dirt on me - the food, and everything was perfect, the young lady behind the counter was very caring and simply adorable: she can teach customer service elsewhere a thing or two.
Thank you Pimiento!!

My husband didn't want either one of us to cook for our pre-Mother's Day celebration so we decided to pick up food from here. Boy was it a mistake, a waste of time and an incredible waste of money. The pale, jiggly chicken was so bland and raw on the inside, and the rice was grainy and wet, and the beans uncooked and flavorless. These are meals that I have cooked for years and are part of my daily life and family culture. I know how each item is supposed to taste, look and feel. Pimiento severely missed the mark on every single item we ordered. To add insult to injury, I called and the owner/manager began to argue with me, saying that well since I had a long drive home and the food probably got soggy on the way there. Basically they told me too bad, so I fed it to my dog and I really don't think she even wanted it either.Oh, and whoever I spoke to on the phone was a true representation of my entire experience at Pimiento...horrendous.
