I ordered seafood ramen. It was bland and no seasoning. I was going to send it back and order something else, but the waiter said it will have to come out his pay. I didn't want him to have to do that so i kept the meal and left it on the table. I swear i thought it was illegal to take stuff out of employees pay. As many restaurants as I have visited, i have never heard of that. My first time here and i will never be back, because of the way employees are treated. That is ridiculous, and I'm sure the owner makes enough money to never take meals that are sent back out of employees pay.I do not know the waiter name, but I do know that is exactly what the waiter said, and i don't think the waiter would make something like that up just because he does not want to send a meal back

We have been here many times and loved it! Except today while eating a salad I took a bite and then had a finger nail in my mouth! Nicely told the manager and she proceeded to tell me “they are not allowed to clip their nails their” “that it’s impossible that it came from the restaurant”. Beyond the fact that I just had a fingernail in my food let alone my mouth from one of her employees she gave us $10 off our bill and an ice cream for our son. Which I feel is not adequate for the circumstances.

I have eaten at this restaurant for years and never had a bad experience, but things seem to have changed recently. I have noticed that the standards of cleanliness and friendly service have decreased considerably. I had sushi with raw fish yesterday and now have food poisoning. I am incredibly disappointed. Their food safety standards are obviously not high to have this happen. Raw fish should be frozen to a specific temperature before serving to kill parasites, and they may be skipping this step. The tables look visibly dirty when myself and other guests were seated. The staff is usually rude as well, with waiters and waitresses giving strange looks or being short with customers. Children of staff often hang out in kitchen areas, which can be unsanitary. This used to be my favorite restaurant, but it seems that everything is rushed and completed poorly. It may be worth calling a local health department. I advise people not to eat here in the meantime.

Food is getting too expensive and the portion got smaller...I got quarter sized burnt lamb chops...they were actually the size of a quarter attached to a bone and I got charged alot. They put they didn't have them but they did on the hibachi side..I got filet..lamb chop and teriyaki chicken with rice and veg. The guy waiter had an attitude problem also. I spent 350 bucks for me and my family and haven't been back since..their lunch prices also went up 4 bucks and resturant depot prices are the same for the same products..I know I own a business im a chef..I posted my experience to let the public know and also for you to address your issues..but instead you choose to cry..good job at customer service

I am extremely disappointed with my visit to Tomo Asian Fusion. For the prices they charge, I expected a certain level of freshness, but the fish tasted subpar and potentially unsafe. The hygiene standards were questionable at best—sticky tables and dusty decor. To make matters worse, the service was dismissive. When I pointed out an issue with my order, the staff acted as if I were an inconvenience. Definitely not the 'upscale' experience they advertise. Proceed with caution

Repeatedly, THE WORST SERVICE EVER. They allow their Servers to be nasty. And if you leave a tip, less than they want, they confront you about it. It's prevalent through the entire restaurant. We are repeat customers who will NEVER go there again, for AVERAGE CHAIN-LIKE Food/Sushi anyway. If you google, you can find better-rated sushi and Japanese food and won't have to suffer with bad nasty service EACH time you go

This place is so good. I think it is probably the best sushi in the Hudson valley. My parents live near this place and to be honest it is one of the reasons I visit them from the city. This place is like being in a real city and not a strip mall. And they don't mind that the first table we are seated at is never up to par for my mother, so they seat us at a different table. Everyone knows someone like this, so if they like sushi, Mr. Sushi is for you. The mango shrimp is sooo good and just recently I discovered the coconut shrimp which was so good.

I have frequented the restaurant several times over the years and have always had an enjoyable experience. Until yesterday. The charm of this establishment is the show that the chef puts on. While the food technically met with the restaurant’s standards the show was sadly far below expectations. The chef went through everything as if he was performing a time trial for a NASCAR pit crew. There was no showmanship, the pieces were either to large or to small, no uniformity. Just every part of the expected show was rushed and ruined the experience. I did notice however that other chefs were providing the standard experience that we would have liked to also have enjoyed. I hope that this was a one off and not a trend of decline in this establishment
