I have to say, this cook knows what he's doing. One of the hardest parts about living in Middletown is finding a nice restaurant. I can say for sure now that Sugar Shack is a worthy competitor for date nights, brunch gatherings, or just a casual lunch.I've come here at least four or five times, and the taste, presentation, quality, and service has reached beyond my expectations. Pretty surprising actually. Each time, I've tried something new and each time it's been great.Today I had salmon tacos and carrot cake. The salmon was juicy and tender with multiple layers of flavor from the cole slaw and sweet corn shells. I wasn't expecting too much from the carrot cake, but it was light, moist, and had an unexpected hit if citrus.This is a high quality establishment with a lovely ambience. Definitely recommended.

One of our favorite places in Middletown. Open on Mondays which is a huge plus because that’s our only break day. The food is consistently great! Service is professional and discreet. We’re regulars here. Great fun!

This place was really nice! The atmosphere and vibe were very cozy and fun! Their menu is nice and they have some great options. We tried the steak and eggs and the French toast. The steak and eggs were decent but the French toast was so delicious. I also tried the strawberry lemonade and it was tasty. Definitely a spot to try out.

Staff here showed such great hospitality. We traveled from CT in search of a restaurant to host my son’s birthday due to staying in a hotel nearby. Food was good and presentation was great. The restaurant itself was clean and well decorated (it was a vibe). The waiter played a birthday song over the speakers for my son and I felt he went above and beyond. I deff recommend this place if you in town. Glad we chose the sugar factory and thank you again for making my sons day special ??

It is a little unknown because it is on centre St, in an alleyway, and the DMV may throw people off; but walk through centre St and you will be amazed!Had the eggs in purgatory and spouse had the stout French toast! O my! Flavorful, savory, and filling without overfilling. And the cappuccino was perfect!Do not pass by this gem! Look for it!

Please don't get the steak and eggs ! This is the first salty steak I've tasted. It taste like it was marinated in salt water. The eggs are salty as well.

Enjoyed a fabulous and DOG FRIENDLY on the patio under the umbrella. We were greeted promptly. Our service was five stars the whole meal. CeeCee always had a smile and was attentive. We wanted unsweetened iced tea, which they don't have, so she went the extra step and brewed it for us and put it over ice with water! The vanilla lattes were perfect with a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Patio seating is perfect if you have a dog because the street is closed to through traffic. See pics for our dishes which couldn't have been more delicious. Can't wait to go back.
