This establishment is a long-time staple in Middletown. They are consistent in regards to prompt and efficient service and the quality of the food. I personally have never had a bad meal here, and my family considers this the best/most solid Chinese food in town. Dining room is a little dark and dingy and could use a good deep cleaning and maybe some updating, but they do have plastic dividers and every other booth roped off to ensure distancing for eat-in customers. The staff are still wearing masks as well. I appreciated these details a lot - it's very respectful of the patrons given the pandemic isn't over, and I think that says a lot about how staff and ownership feels about their customers. They've been around a long time for a reason! We'll continue to patronize this restaurant so long as they're in business.

Was the worst chinese food I have ever eaten. I always see them busy so we gave them a try. Their was so much soy sauce in the rice which made up most of my plate. I had beef and broccoli. How can you mess up that. My family had general tso chicken. They did not enjoy it.

I dropped in for a late lunch after a stressful day and really enjoyed it. The waiter was the nicest guy with a good sense of humor, which cheered me up. I love egg drop soup and this was the best I've ever tasted! I told the waiter I am on a gluten-free diet and he kindly said there was some wheat in the sauce of one of the dishes. I had sesame beef, which was tasty, and there was plenty of hot tea on a cold day. It was a bit pricey for lunch, but I did order from the main menu. Maybe lunch specials would help bring in more customers.

I’ve been coming here for many years, today was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The lobster was over cooked, the celery from the sushi was very old, there was little rice on the sushi rolls, and there was no wasabi in one of my meals. Disgusted…. the guy at the register was rushing the other guy who was making the sushi. Totally unexceptionable. And unprofessional. I will not be returning there again, and they should be reported and closed down….
this was my first time coming here. My friend had suggested it so while I was up visiting we went here and we had a great time. the food was amazing. the service was fantastic. I highly recommend to give this place a try if you have never been here.

I have been going here for years, but lately I find that the tables and chairs are dusty. They sat us near a window and the dust bunnies were horrible. The chairs across from us looked as if no one ever dusted them in the last 6 months. Also, my husband killed a big ant that got on his arm. He swatted it and when he showed the waiter, the waiter picked it up and said nothing. I felt totally uncomfortable. When I received my Chicken and Shrimp with Broccoli, there were only one large shrimp and one tiny shrimp. They never deveined the shrimp and I had to pull out the vein. Though the broccoli was good and the fried rice was delicious, I felt a grave disappointed because this was not the You You Restaurant of years ago. Sorry, but I have to give this establishment just 3 stars. Cleanliness is very important where ever I eat my meals. The Board of Health needs to go in and force this place to be much cleaner. I will not be visiting that restaurant ever again.

I had not gone to You You since before the pandemics. Wanted good Chinese but unfortunately this was not it. The waiter became annoyed when my husband asked him what was in a chicken dish and even laughed at him when he asked if it included an egg roll, like my dish. When the food came out it was not presented the same as it was and the receipts were not the same. For example, the sauce in my chicken and broccoli was not the usual sauce used , it was a little sour instead. Portions also significantly reduced and I received about half the rice as usual. Will not be back.
