It snowed 3 days earlier and the Parking lot was a sheet of ice on a Friday night. They never salted the parking lot. We waited 20 minutes for tap water. Our Drinks took just as long. Seafood Crepe dinner and crab cakes were not fresh, they were frozen, lukewarm and mushy when they arrived. Salmon dinner was super salty. We ordered 3 cappuccino’s and all of them had curdled milk/cream on top. We had to send them back. We have eaten there before but this experience and service was aweful….so sorry to say I would not look forward to eating there again. 👎🏼

Charlotte’s is just the coziest spot, especially in the fall. The food was delicious (the calamari was perfect), and everyone there is so warm and friendly — they really do treat you like family. Such a great place for dinner when you want good food and a comfortable vibe. Also, the bartender is super handsome — definitely doesn’t hurt 😉.

The seafood crepe was dry and lacked sauce. The chicken dish seemed to have the onion soup on top instead of sautéed onions and the chicken was extremely tough. I’ve eaten here over the years and the food was truly poor. It was disappointing.

Beautiful outdoor setting. Pretty disappointed with food quality and service. Shrimp in my soup and meal were raw (not kidding!)…. farfalle pasta overcooked….vegetables bland/overcooked. Calamari app was tiny portion and a tad greasy…Took 30 minutes for waitress to take food order (and was a slow evening). Party of 4 and spent $425! I had much higher expectations. Best single word description would be “sloppy”. Many better options in Dutchess County for fine dining. A pity because the outdoor setting is beautiful.

We had the pleasure of eating for the first time at this charming restaurant. The flower gardens and ambience were amazing. We shared a delicious crab cake appetizer. Then we had a seafood crepe filled with lucious crab, scallops & lobster,,,,,and clam linguini topped with about 15 scrumptious fresh clams. To top it off we somehow made room for moist raspberry cheesecake. I highly recommend visiting this fabulous restaurant in Millbrook, NY. It's well worth it

We had the most wonderful birthday dinner at Charlotte’s! The restaurant has such a charming old-school, romantic vibe—beautifully decorated in a cozy, vintage country style. We started with drinks at the bar: a black currant French martini and a mango margarita—both absolutely delicious. For dinner, we shared juicy crab cakes full of flavor, an incredible split pea soup with deep umami notes, rich and creamy loaded mac’n’cheese, and the most tender lamb shank served over mashed potatoes—falling off the bone and perfectly seasoned.
The service was genuinely friendly and welcoming. We even had trouble getting cell signal to order an Uber, and to our surprise, the owner kindly offered us a ride back to our Airbnb nearby. That level of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. Highly recommend Charlotte’s for a special occasion or a romantic evening out—you’ll be well taken care of.

Very cozy place with good food. All four of us liked our meals very much, but most of all there was no loud music making conversation impossible and a rug on the floor helped with noise also. It is almost impossible to find such a quiet atmosphere anymore. We are going back to try dining in the beautiful garden.

Had a nice dinner for our anniversary. Not many gluten free options for me. But the pork chops were absolutely delicious. My wife had the scallops and she enjoyed them. Service could have been better since the place wasn't busy. Food I do recommend though.
