“We've been coming to Orto since it opened, and have brought family and friends several times. My husband proposed to me while we dined there four years ago and we recently went back to celebrate our anniversary. Every meal has been wonderful.“

Top-tier service, great cashier.

Guac is great, pork taco was great. Chicken taco was super dry and nasty. Steak taco was okay.

Rice was straight mushy. Could be from the drive home though.

My main issue is the sauce, asked for the spiciest they had and it didn’t have a hint of spice. It tasted sweet, a mild sauce from Taco Bell is spicier.

Really confused by it, my girlfriend who can’t handle pepper said it was good and had a “little kick to it”. She can’t even handle green Tabasco without freaking out… I NEED ME SOME HEAT MIGUEL!“

“It was a little late so I called to make sure they were still open. A lady had answered and I asked if they were still open and taking orders she said yes we are open til 11pm she was so pleasant. I placed my order for pick up she told me 15mins it would be ready. The place was very clean. They were friendly upon entering. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend them.“

“I have used their curbside a couple times and each time I ended up having to go in to get my food. If they advertise curbside through the app and ask for the car color and type they should bring the food out instead of having the customer go in. Most times they are pretty empty inside when I have to go in to get my food.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

I normally don’t write reviews but I had to shout from the rooftops how great everything was- the lo mein, chicken and broccoli, and wonton soup was so tasty and fresh. “Allow me to tell you about this absolute magnificent restaurant. The atmosphere was exactly how I expected it, it was an experience. Even with their lowest spice level, they still have a kick to their food. Their food is also very filling and there's plenty to go around. The employees and people there know exactly what they're doing, how to cook, how to talk with people, they are the prime example of a 10/10 restaurant. The quality was wonderful, the food was flavorful, and they were accommodating for special requests (my wife doesn't like fish sauce, and they adjusted AND marked it on the receipt). Our group was large, so we did takeout, but the restaurant was clean, and tastefully decorated. I would have loved to eat my meal there.

“The litteral only downside is that it's so popular it's a little cramped walking through the front door. And when the worst thing about your restaurant is it's too good that says a lot. The food is delicious and reasonably priced the torta del sol bring a notable stand out. The staff is friendly attentive and personable, and the bread is out of this world. “Love Leo & the gang. They know our order always. We never change it up and they always tell my husband he orders too much!!! Lol!!! They even bring my gluten free soy sauce without me asking! We have 1/4 boys that don’t like sushi and they let him sit with his pizza. 💗“

“My favorite local pizza place! Pizza is always cooked perfectly and never had an issue here. Their sauce is delicious and it goes great with a calzone or garlic knot. The staff treats you like family and cares about the quality of their food. Will be coming back for years!“

“Really nice place with a rustic, romantic vibe. The food and service was excellent. Served hot and nicely portioned. Cesar salad was your with anchovies and dressed just right. Artichoke and spinach flatbread appetizer was excellent also.
My girlfriend got the Tuscan chicken over spaghetti and was a really nice portion. It needed a little salt but otherwise was perfect. I got the orrechetti with sausage and broccoli rabe and was very good. Sausage could have been cooked a little less and there could have been more broccoli rabe, but was still enjoyable. One other thing, they asked if I wanted cheese sprinkled on top, which I loved, but they used the wrong cheese. Instead of sprinkling grated Romano, they spooned on shredded parmesan. Not really appropriate for that dish.
