“My wife and I went here last night for our Valentines Day dinner (yes a few weeks late) on recommendation from some friends. Our waitress Jackie was very accommodating and friendly. We had the fried risotto balls and parm truffle croquettes for appetizers which were very good, and that’s where it ended. We got a call from our baby sitter saying one of our kids was getting a fever and was acting out of sorts. We’ve never had to, but felt that it was time to leave early. We asked if we could wrap our pasta up to go, which they were great about. We paid for what we ate so far and left, knowing we would eventually come back. As I got into the car, I saw someone running towards us. As they got closer I realized it was Jackie our waitress. I thought I left my wallet (which wouldn’t be a surprise) but she said the entrees just finished and they wanted us to have them. I didn’t pay for that part of our meal and I asked if I could, but Jackie said they insisted it was on the house because of our situation. We couldn’t believe it; one of the nicest things I’ve encountered. After a 30 minute drive home and putting four kids to bed, we ate out to-go boxes an hour later, and they were incredible. The food is very good, unique spins on dishes with ingredients that pair very well. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food. The restaurant is deceivingly large when you look from the outside. But it was the service that set it apart. We can’t wait to stick around for dessert next time!“

“Miguel's is awesome! Excellent food. Everything here is great. Very cheaply priced and affordable. They even have an in-house home made cinnamon horchata drink. If you've never had it, then you're missing out big time. But if you get addicted to it don't blame me. The best Spanish food around.

Parking: Free parking lot. Shares a lot with the other few little stores in the store front over there. Easy to find parking.“

“The food is excellent and no mistakes! This is really a take out operation. There are two tables available to sit and eat but no wait service. The restaurant is always busy which goes to prove the quality of the food. The staff is friendly and accommodating.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

They keep the busy small eat in order area and kitchen clean. They have many choices, so our mixed diets of regular and vegan have delicious items to choose from their menu.

“I just hosted a surprise 40th birthday at po'boy. It was such a wonderful experience (and the guest of honor was successfully surprised!) Just the vibe I was looking for, relaxed, homey and fun. Great music and atmosphere. They charge a very low and reasonable space rental fee, and we had more than enough space for our 40 guests. So many options for drinks including all of their beers, wine and soda. We were even allowed to bring in our own food at no charge. And decorate the space how we liked. Bartenders there were sooo helpful, friendly, and were able to help with all requests. Highly recommend for a relaxed party, or just an evening with some friends for a couple of drinks. “This is hands down the best soup dumpling place I’ve ever been to. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years and never experienced such authenticity as Red Tiger Their crabmeat and pork soup dumplings are the best thing on the menu. However, they have so many different ones to try. Everytime we come here we always try a new one.

“Dinner was excellent! Extensive menu. Ordered from the pasta section of the menu gnocchi a la vodka with melted mozzarella on top. It was delicious. There was an unprinted kids menu that included good items like spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, chicken fingers with fries, pizza, etc on the night we went. Chose the spaghetti and meatballs and it came with a large bowl of spaghetti and two giant meatballs. My portion was huge too. They were all about service. Very friendly and attentive team members. The restaurant was very busy, but the food came out relatively quickly and very hot.

The only reason I gave the atmosphere four rather than five star rating is because the front door area was so crowded and congested when we arrived that we couldn't get through the dense and unorganized crowd to figure out where the hosts and hostesses were to request a table. We had never been there before so we had no idea if that was a line for a table or takeout. Appears the front door has a take out order counter or area there. There was a back side door that we ended up using and found some hosts in the middle of the restaurant to ask for a table. To our pleasant surprise there was table readily available for us on the patio!“

“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

I have been going to L.I Wings-N-Things for 7 years, finally I get around to doing a review.
I recently ordered a few items, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience. We tried the nachos, pierogies, 10-piece wings, and Rubin bites, and each item was delicious.

The nachos were loaded , the pierogies were perfectly cooked, and the Rubin bites were amazing. The wings are the best we ever had.

This restaurant definitely earned a spot as a family favorite. Highly recommend! Still after 7 years of going here.
