45 minutes for a lunch special!!!! Terrible!!!! I called them at 1:30am to order a lunch special, and they told me the order will be ready in 15 min, I got there at 2pm and told me my order was not ready. I got my order at 2:15pm. I don’t think if I would ever go back there.

I would advise the owner to really pay attention to their staff, one girl in particular, she made the environment very awkward, wasn’t rude but she made no effort to be at least nice to customers. The food was good, nice place as well. She just made our table not be there.

I always order food to go but for my birthday my family and I ate dinner there. The tamales yum. The lomo yum. The spaghetti saltado yum. The soup yum. The jalea was nice and fresh made, not reheated and over oil. The waitress lovely and the owner a very lovely lady. They made my birthday very special. Thank you. I will definitely come back and eat there when I don't feel like cooking jijiji.

Got off the phone five minutes ago. Here's the exchange verbatim. Me: "Hey, I'd like to place an order for pick-up". Female on the other end of the line at La Perucha: "Errr, Spanish?" Me: Fumbles while thinking if I've got the vocabulary to pull that off. "Umm, no sorry. Only English". La Perucha: *Chuckles and hangs up phone.

Best homemade comfort food, which is by far healthier than most other places. The staff are super kind. Feels like eating at your grandma or aunt's home, but even better since it feels you've traveled abroad on a trip to South America and have found your long lost family. The food is as good as the people. My new favorite go to place for a hardy and home made meal.

Five stars for the Thursday sopa de pollo!! If you like soup you should try it. Also get the purple corn drink, it’s really good here. It’s called chicha morada. They have different lunch specials each day ( it’s been a tad hit or miss for me).
I have tried a couple of dishes. The jalea and the chicken combo. Also the ceviche. My husband is Peruvian and we have found this place to be one of the best for Peruvian food. We found everything to be pretty fresh. Prices are also very moderate. Staff is also friendly.

The food was flavorful and plentiful. We purchased for takeaway. Service was excellent. I only wish they had parking in the lot next to them.

It was good, the weekend breakfast were tasty especially with the aji sauce. The steak is always too thin in most Peruvian restaurants which is not very tender, nonetheless it was still flavorful.I ordered a traditional Peruvian birthday ? with majar Blanco for next week, I will let you know what it is tastes like
