They work so hard and open so early! If you’re around Monroe and need breakfast early this place is consistently the BEST bagels in Orange county. Real bagels!!! Perfectly fresh and delicious. They’ve recently started making garlic herb cream cheese which is my favorite. This place is a must for our family when we get bagels.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Bagel World in Monroe. The staff was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. While customers were in line, employees were cursing and talking negatively in Spanish, seemingly unaware—or not caring—that customers could understand them. This created an uncomfortable and disrespectful environment.
Their overall attitude toward customers was dismissive and careless. To make matters worse, I observed a rodent in the kitchen area, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety.
After this visit, I looked into their public health inspection records, and the results were very concerning, showing a poor health grade/history. Given what I personally witnessed and what’s publicly documented, this location clearly has serious issues that management needs to address immediately.
I would not recommend this place until professionalism, sanitation, and oversight are significantly improved.

Ordered a sesame bagel with lox flavored cream cheese. There is so little cream cheese on this bagel that you can barely taste it.

Slowest service ever. Took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. It was me and one other person there. Blonde haired lady was more interested in dumping the tip money out on the counter than servicing the person who is there to buy and order food. The Spanish lady is the only one hustling. The bacon eggs and cheese was pathetic for the price they charge. Partly warm, partly not, bagel was dry and just sub par. The tables, not a single one was clean. I wiped one down myself. For the price, horribly slow service, food lacking, and dirty tables, I’d sooner go to McDonald’s in the same parking lot! Never again! I paid $17 for 2 BEC that barely had an egg on it, and 1 medium coffee. Drive right on by this place!

Been here several times and it’s always the same…very slow service and very expensive. I ordered 2 sandwiches (turkey and American cheese with mayo on a round roll) and it’s almost $28. 2 SANDWICHES! And I was waiting 13 minutes to have them made. Terrible.
In the past, when I’ve ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese, they use only 1 egg and barely any bacon. This costs in the neighborhood of $9. If you add an egg or bacon it’s another $2. I’m walking out paying $11-$12 for a bacon, egg, and cheese. 1 sandwich! Not sure how this place stays open.
And the quality isn’t even that good. I’m not going back.
