Amazing experience, great food, & atmosphere. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our party was well taken care of. Will definitely visit again!
Beautiful space
Well executed food
Service on point.
Great food and atmosphere. The wait staff was amazing. Highly recommended place to eat. Be sure to make a reservation.
Chris (chief) made our day. we missed the restaurant closure announcement (closed due to weather condition). Chris said he felt bad us traveling all the way from the city for nothing and wanted to cooked for us. He turned the lights on and played music just for us in the empty hall. He served pastries from local bakery, winter hash, egg purgatory, french toast bread pudding, and espresso shots. They were all delicious - plate licking good seriously. It was such a wholesome experience - felt like we rented the whole place and had a private chief cooked & served for us. He didn’t accepted a dime and said he’s happy that he made our day on holidays. He did make our day. We both whole-heartedly felt his generosity and passion for making customers happy. It made us reflect ourselves if we’ve ever provided such experience to others this year… again, thank you so much Chris. We wouldn’t forget this.
Food is straightforward and executed perfectly. Very pleasant, relaxed service. Love coming here.
Incredible food, incredible setting, extremely perceptive hosts.
I recommend the butternut squash soup and hot honey pizza.
Dining at the restaurant gives a 10% discount for their produce stand.
They kindly allowed us to move the reservation earlier when our schedule cleared up.
We could not have been happier with our wedding at Blooming Hill Farm. The venue is breathtaking, the food is extraordinary, the staff went out of their way to make the day perfect. Do not hesitate.
I try to eat here when I visit the Hudson Valley every meal is amazing
Every time we eat here everything is amazing, the menu changes with the seasons which is appreciated and delightful. I highly recommend Blooming Hill Farm.
not the best experience this time around. i really usually love this place. food and drinks are always great. this past time i visited i wanted to be impressed i am always.. the short rib special was subpar. dry and temperature was not hot when it came to the table. we finished off with the farm crisp dessert— the description said farm apples with streusel- we got baked crunchy apples instead with ice cream. it was terrible. we told the waiter it wasn’t good or what we expected and he didn’t even try to make it right or offer something different. very disappointed. the prices also sky rocketed in this place. $40 for a half chicken with potatoes?
it’s crazy.

Eleven of my family members celebrated an important birthday at Blooming Hill Farm. This was such a wonderful and memorable evening and all of us will remember it for years to come. We are a family who love to cook, so it was very hard to find a place that would impress all of us. But Blooming Hill Farm exceeded our expectations. We had house mesclun salad which was heavenly, followed by trout, risotto and chicken all done to perfection. At the end we had variety of desserts which were excellent. Kaitlin took great care of us planning the event and accommodating our wishes. We cannot wait to come back to Blooming Hill Farm.
This place is an absolute must if you are in the area. Absolutely everything was delicious
We had a reservation at 5:15 PM (the restaurant opens at 5), and when we arrived, there were already a few groups seated near us. Our server sat us down and then just left — no asking us for water or drinks, no check-in. We waited for about 15 minutes, trying to get someone’s attention. We even raised our hands several times, but none of the staff came over and one even looked at my hand but ignored me. The most frustrating part was that a few servers were just standing together near the counter, talking instead of checking on tables.
Eventually, we had to call out to a server who was serving a nearby table and ask them directly if we could at least get some water. Meanwhile, another group that arrived after us was greeted right away and immediately given water and bread. What we noticed was that there was just a different energy to us vs other tables. I don’t know if it was just poor service or something else — we were the only Asian table there, so… do with that what you will…
The food, however, was phenomenal.
• The pomodoro pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños was absolutely delicious — crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the jalapeños added the perfect kick.
• The steak was flavorful and well-seasoned but came out a bit cold.
• The spaghetti carbonara was rich and tasty but also not hot, and was cold which was disappointing.
• The Italian soda was refreshing and delicious.
At some point, I think the staff realized how long we’d been waiting because they brought out a complimentary burrata — a nice gesture, but it didn’t really make up for the slow and inattentive service. Both the pasta and steak also took a really long time to arrive.
Overall, the food was fantastic, but the service completely missed the mark. It’s hard to enjoy such great food when you spend the first part of your meal feeling ignored and overlooked.
Such a beautiful place, truly a gem, the rustic atmosphere, farm to table menu and wonderful service will have us visit again soon.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars.
My daughter's wedding was here on Friday, October 24, 2025. I will admit that I had concerns about the venue since a lot of it was outdoors. Thankfully the weather was damn near perfect.
I cannot fault a single thing about the venue and the staff (Special call out to KATE). They were SUPERB and the place looked amazing. The staff were all professional, attentive and patient. Their attentiveness allowed me to enjoy the event and not worry about something going wrong because nothing did.
But the absolute BEST thing here was the FOOD. My God it was all fantastic. Even simple dishes like chicken served at the reception dinner was great. Simple food presented simply but beautifully and it was all so damn good. It's so good that I plan on visiting here in the future just for dinner (and I live 40 miles away). It's worth the trip. Every time they served up something, I was eager to try and nothing disappointed. For example, for one of the desserts, they served what I think was an apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Fantastic! I could go on and on.
I want to Thank the entire staff of Blooming Hill Farm for making such an important day truly amazing and unforgettable!
