Bad food. I had food poisoning from them and was forced to call out from my overnight job.
On and off with them for years. Overall - good food for good price.
Food and service were definitely under par. The waitress spent more time talking about her personal life with nearby friends and not paying attention to the needs of her customers.

The service at this IHOP was terrible. Everything was extremely slow, and the staff was not friendly at all. It felt like they couldn’t be bothered. Definitely not the welcoming experience you’d expect from a place like this. Won’t be coming back.

Today I had the pleasure of dining at IHOP Monroe for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the food more so by the service. Even tho it was busy my waitress Aleena was sweet attentive and took the time to listen to my requests. I will def be back later !!!

I come all the time and this was absolutely the worst service I had ever had anywhere. It was two pm no wait, approximately 5 tables in the restaurant and two servers on. It took about 15 minutes for our server Sophia to even come to the table. Once she did she asked what we wanted to eat not a hi or what we would like to drink just “what do you want to eat”. As we ordered she seemed confused as to things we were asking about. I asked for a coffee on the specials menu as well as an order of pancakes, an order of sausage and a hash brown. We were told she’d be right back with our drinks however it took 20 minutes for her to return, she told me they did not have the specialty coffee and instead just brought me a black coffee. I was fed up with the wait times so I asked for our food to be cancelled, I was then told that the food was already ready. The food came out and my hash-browns were burnt, I was told she’d get me a new one however it was barely edible. I am a server myself and it’s so disheartening to be treated with such disregard when clearly there was no need, I understand if it is busy but she only had 3 tables. There was also no manager to be found. Sophia needs to be better trained or simply moved down a position, no server should be on the floor not being attentive to tables.

We love this ihop! We travel about 20 mins just for this location specifically. It’s sad to see this restaurant short staffed this evening. There was only one waiter and the cook, who had to keep running food with a full restaurant. Waiter and cook were absolutely fantastic tonight! But not many people will be as patient as we are. I hope this was just a fluke today and they will be properly staffed next visit,
