Always order fried calamari and nachos so you know what else is in store Calamari was supermarket grade. No tentacles and cut too thin but it was fried perfectly and not greasy. Nachos are house made and great. Service was excellent but running all over the place. Shouldn’t have a table here and then one by the door and another on the other side of the room. At least they pulled it together and acted as one team which impressed me. The rice was either the proper rice such as jasmine or…. Guacamole is home made and one dish was a fried tortilla. While perfectly cooked it could have had more stuffing… but food is definitely fresh. Including salsa etc My only complaints were we ordered jalspenos with everything and it seemed more like bell peppers. No hot sauce anywhere and when we asked the server was clueless. There is only one bathroom for the place and three tables seated in arms reach by the bathrooms
Food was good, dessert was good
Service was like everyone was ready to go home at 8:15pm when we got there.

I’m torn because I like a lot of the food here but they wayyyy overdo it with the onions. Carne enchilada very good! But I smell like onions for like 24 hours afterwards lol. Service a little inconsistent

Two adults ate lunch here on a Monday afternoon in late September and had a great meal. One of us had the Bistec Burrito (with enough left over to take home for dinner) and the other had the Enchilades Mosqueteras platter. The total was about $49 with tax less tip. Note they do charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. Excellent table service. We will return again the next time we visit relatives in the area.

This is the best restaurant in Monroe. The chicken enchiladas and beef burritos are nearly weekly purchases for us. The service is always friendly and astonishingly fast. The place is pretty, nut we usually get take out, which is a really smooth process.

Fairly priced authentic Mexican food in Middletown, NY
I tried pollo, pollo asado, bistec, and enchilada tacos. All were good, but the enchilada tacos really stood out. Well seasoned and delicious - made even better with the salsa verde and lime. Highly recommend visiting or ordering takeout from here.

Incredible food and fantastic service. Ask for the homemade hot sauce. Shoutout to Angel for taking great care of us.

My wife and I love coming here (and I’m picky having lived in Texas for a decade). The food is really good and the staff is very friendly. It has a nice atmosphere with a little seating area outside.

Can’t comment on the service or atmosphere as we ordered delivery but wow! Not from the area but if we’re ever back, I will come back here. I’ll be dreaming of the Tacos de Tripa

Have loved this place since it was a tiny little "hole in the wall" place with a hand written menu and no alcohol license over twenty years ago. It just gets better and better and I love to see it grow.
Vegetarian options: The chimichunga Jardine is my firm favourite! Ask for extra green sauce!!
