Delicious food. Best kosher place to dine out in the area.
My husband and I went the day after we got married to celebrate and it was a great experience. We didn't tell the staff - but they were kind and welcoming regardless. Wait staff was amazing and answered all questions and made great recommendations. Steaks were cooked perfectly and portions were very generous - had leftovers and didn't orders apps.
Pretty busy when we went. In the future, I'd make a reservation, especially when coming with a large party.

Fireside is at somewhat of a unique disadvantage due to its location within a shopping mall. Their main area does a great job making you feel like you're in a regular Manhattan restaurant with the dark interior and cozy feel. However their overflow room feels a bit too industrial and cavernous for my taste and gets loud fast.
The food is rarely disappointing. We had the black label burger, lamb hummus, and chicken Caesar salad. Everything tasted great, but unfortunately none of the food came out hot except the French fries, it was all lukewarm at best.
The staff was great and attentive, but even though I put in my reservation request that this was our anniversary none of the staff mentioned it during our visit. Overall dinner was good and we'll go back.

This was our special occasion spot since Fireside opened. From the atmosphere, to the service and the great food, Fireside is where we send all our friends and family to. We went for my birthday on a Thursday night with the dining room less than half full, and this was the exact opposite experience. The food quality has gone down, and the service was a joke. The pizza was still fine for the appetizer (although it’s been better), but the steak was tasteless, dry and unappealing. The Au Jus the provided was basically just a pool of fat and added nothing to the steak’s flavor. Fireside used to use hand cut French fries, but I received a heaping portion of frozen fries to go with the steak. My wife’s portion of ribs were mostly bone, and her onion rings she said tasted off. I tried to contact Fireside to resolve, but no response from them.
We then tried to get dessert for my wife and I for my birthday. We were handed dessert menus and 25 minutes later nobody would take our order. The restaurant that Thursday night was half empty and the servers were laughing and joking with each other. The chef was even out there instead of in the kitchen just speaking and hanging out with the front of house. We tried multiple times to flag down someone, but to no avail. I then got up and went to the front to pay as we were there over two hours for slow and mediocre service, was left an apology and left. Unless we see drastic improvements to the new chef’s quality of food and the service, there’s no way we could ever come back. It’s sad as for almost 10 years, Fireside was our spot. I’ve been there since the beginning. Quality and care have gone down.

We went to Fireside Kosher for a corporate lunch and were blown away! The ambiance was elegant yet inviting — perfect for both professional and personal dining. The food was outstanding — flavorful, beautifully plated, and served hot and fresh. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared.
The service was impeccable — the waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and really enhanced the experience without being overbearing. Everyone in our group left impressed.
Highly recommend Fireside Kosher if you’re looking for upscale kosher dining done right. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place👍
The new menu from Chef Uri Elbaum is incredible. We dined with a few of our friends, but somehow this meal was one of the most memorable! The food was delicious- each bite was packed with so much flavor. The plating was stunning and we will ABSOLUTELY be back. (We have now gone twice in the last month)!

Had a great experience at Fireside. The meat board was packed with variety — hangar, prime rib, smoked prime, skirt, and more — and every cut was cooked to the perfect temp. You could tell the kitchen knew what they were doing.
The nugget platter, pastrami strips, and beef cigars were all flavorful and well-executed. Mashed potatoes were rich and creamy — real comfort food done right. The meat pizza was a standout, amazing dough, and the combo of pastrami, tomato, and pareve cheese was a match made in heaven.
Huge credit to Chef Uri, everything was thoughtful, balanced, and clearly made with care. He’s got a real handle on flavor and execution. The waiters were all in sync and the whole operation felt smooth and well-run.
Can’t wait to come back.
