The fries were amazing, they only had one working bathroom while we’re were here and it is a tight squeeze. There was a line and the sink was not draining well. The lobster roll was delish but the kids chicken quesadilla was amazing! I stole quite a few bites. My husband had the fish sandwich also good! The drinks were cold and delicious. We got sat right away but the food took a bit long to come out.
Very unassuming restaurant. Looks like a dive bar messed with a local eating spot. I was not expecting such an elevated dining experience. The pricing was pretty affordable. Ate the mussels that came with toasted bread that I dipped back into the sauce -absolutely amazing. Scallops salad was mediocre. The scallops were over salted. The Lamborghini sliders were really solid. The overall surprise was the key lime pie. I am from South Florida and consider myself a key lime...
If I could give this place more than 10 stars, I would! The Gig Shack in Montauk is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something.
