Absolutely amazing! Bannet Shellfish has the best lobster rolls and lobster bisque I have ever tasted. The lobster bisque, especially, was out of this world, so fresh, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite.
The owners are some of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and it is clear they pour their hearts into everything they do.
May God bless them for bringing such wonderful food and warmth to the community. I cannot wait to come back again!

We had the best lobster roll and experience at Bennett’s that we had to go back again in the same week! This time we ordered the lobster rolls and tried the lobster bisque as well and oh my goodness it was delicious and we’re so glad we did! Everything we ordered the main ingredient is actually fresh lobster, and they don’t hold back on the amount and you can’t beat the price! The owners are so beyond kind and the place is so cute and clean. You definitely have repeat customers for life! A true Montauk gem and staple.

We camp every October in Montauk. Always ready for a stop at Bennetts Shellfish. Delicious smoked fish dip and a nice piece of smoked bluefish to enjoy with crackers at the campground. Stopped another day for fresh fluke, yum! Best price around for lobster rolls. Got home tonight and warmed up the clam sauce and served it over linguine, husband loved the flavor. May have to drive out over the winter to restock.

I really wanted to love Bennett’s Shellfish after seeing it on Instagram, but it was just okay. The lobster roll was $20 and a bit heavy on the mayo. Honestly, it tasted more like store-bought lobster salad on a bun. What really threw us off was the service and the lack of hygiene when handling the food. Not terrible, but definitely not worth going out of your way for.

Awesome, family run fish market that has been selling local fish for generations. Have been here a few times and their fish is the freshest of the fresh. Their oysters, while expensive, are some of the best I've had. Their clams are also very good and aren't sandy at all. If they have any, get the chocolate cake. Trust me!

Visited Montauk for the first time with friends who are regulars here, and I can see why this is their must-stop spot. The oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious—especially with the cocktail sauce and jalapeño candy (OMG, so good!). The lobster rolls were excellent, and my friends picked up a variety of fish to bring back to Brooklyn. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the shop itself is so charming. Truly a Montauk gem!

Kimberly runs an absolutely fantastic fish shop. The first thing you notice is how impeccably clean it is—you honestly forget you’re even in a fish store because everything is so fresh and spotless. The quality of the fish is top-notch, and you can tell Kimberly takes great pride in what she does. We love coming here, and it’s always our go-to spot for the freshest catch in town. Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying the Lobster Roll was lovely but the attitude not so Walk in and straight away we expect that good ole American smile and bouncy attitude, you don’t get this here - you order and she says you do know we’re cash only, when ask where to get cash answer was 7/11 we were clearly tourists so a little bit more friendly would have helped no end anyway we went off got cash and came back something we wouldn’t normally do but had heard they were too good to miss - anyway we got the rolls, lady was no friendlier but we took them to the beach and ate them there and they were great, they add in celery & I think spring onion and it goes so well Also to say all over instagram/tiktok this says 2 for $30 - it’s actually 2 4 $38 and you give $40 and she says call it $40 then !!
Amazing lobster rolls and very cheap! The only thing I would do differently is toast the bread! 🤭
