Excellent food, fresh and delicious. The kids loved the pancakes and the local fish sandwich was delicious.
We always have a great time at The Bird. We were there for Trivia Night. The vibe is friendly and welcoming. Great energy. They keep the menu small and the quality of the food high. Love you guys ❤️
Highly recommend this dining experience. The food is lovely with complex flavors- but even appealed to my 10 year old who was eager to taste everything. Loved the crispy rice and scallops and overall a great evening.
Our brown butter topped crabmeat appetizer was delicious! Both of our entrees were very good. The key foam-topped creme Brule with key lime granita was excellent. The wine selection was a bit thin but we found a good one.
The Bird is a wonderful dining experience despite being a small place. The chef is very creative with blending different ingredients and the wait staff is very attentive. The addition of a 3 piece live musician group was a wonderful surprise to the evening.
Great service, the staff is attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were served timely. Delicious meals from brunch to dinner!! One of our staples when we visit Montauk
Delsih food. Fast and friendly service. Lavender latte and french toast latte very special!
I was looking forward to eating dinner here after seeing the reviews, but was seriously disappointed. I ordered the scallop entree and was served 3 scallops, two of which were quite small. Absolutely ridiculous and insulting for a $38 entree. Additionally, the waitress never checked in on us during our meal and when I shared my disappointment at the portion size, nothing was done, which shows a complete lack of customer care. We were further gouged with a transaction fee for using a credit card (??), which showed up on the bill without notice adding further insult to injury. Go elsewhere for dinner, where the restaurant actually cares about their customers.
Casual cute atmosphere. Sat in the garden and although the weather was gross it was still great. Food was delicious. Coffee was equally as good and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend checking this place out. I would make reservations if you can or be prepared to wait. It is a popular spot.
We are in montauk for our honeymoon and I am so happy we chose this restaurant for dinner. Everything was a 10/10. From the drinks to the food everything was so delicious and so unique. We will definitely try their breakfast before we leave.

I love this place. Had our favorite meal so far in montauk. Loved the space, very inviting. Our drinks were perfect and it just kept getting better. The edemame was the best I've ever had, the oysters were perfectly dressed and delicious. The the entrees came and I was in heaven. The wagyu sandwich was melt in your mouth delicious and well balanced with the black garlic. The halibut was delicious and unique. The desserts were out of this world. The panna cotta was an experience I wished would never end. An absolute assault of textures and temperatures that all worked beautifully. The banana bread was addictive and again, I wish it just kept coming. Only thing about this place that didn't live up to expectations was the waitress, she forgot to tell me one special that I overheard at a different table. She also never introduced herself which I think is important. Other then that I highly recommend this place for the amazing food.
Staff was really nice and brunch was delicious. Only, the fresh OG dis not taste like freshly squeezed OG 🤷🏼♀️
I had the best food I've ever eaten in my life here, hands down. We typically stick to our “usuals” in Montauk but wanted to try something different this time- and this place NOT disappoint. After dinner Tuesday night we were absolutely blown away by the magic that we just ate, so much so that we went back for brunch the next morning AND dinner the next day too to try other dishes. Sounds crazy, but after you eat here you'll get it. Every dish was pure magical flavor bombs of deliciousness. The crab app was my fav. Huge chunks of crab meat in some sort of mystical butter foam with morsels of pickled corn that just elevated all your tastebuds omg. We will be back here for SURE, and not soon enough in my opinion. Go here! Waygu sandwich, oysters, rip cap special, the ridiculously delicious indulgent brunch options- whatever you order you won't be disappointed. (Not ai generated- just a self proclaimed foodie who is still flabbergasted by what I consumed here).
Always enjoy this local charmer with good food and staff that make the dining experience enjoyable.
This used to be my favorite place for brunch (with a great selection of omelettes, pancakes, etc) but ever since the place changed owners (in '23 or '24) I can no longer relate to the food or the atmosphere.
