I thought this was a great breakfast spot in Montauk. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Probably had one of the best lattes ever as well.

I had high expectations for this place, when we arrived there was a long line and we got on the waiting list, it took approximately 15 minutes. We ordered a pistachio latte and a late, when the dishes we ordered arrived, it was a little disappointing because it is nothing that you cannot prepare at home with a very basic knowledge of cooking. I feel like I'm a little picky on this because of the price, for the egg dish the value was 21 usd, and you could only choose between avocado/bacon/sausage. So I ordered the extra portion of avocado. But as I say, everything was very normal and it was an exaggerated price. Also for the Shakshuka, we asked for an additional egg, but it was not something delicious. I feel like the place is nice, the service is amazing, but the prices are exaggerated for the type of food they sell without any special preparation. I suggest that you evaluate the prices of the dishes or for the basic dishes, or that the other ingredients be included at no additional cost.

We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we made a reservation to celebrate. They actually had a beautiful handwritten anniversary card signed by the staff a beautiful full rose . The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. This place is a gem ?

Came for dinner. Risotto was far from risotto. Overcooked rice with corn and lobster. Very bland and tastes more like bad oats. The steak was very good but the potato gratin cold, not worth $64. Live music was too loud and we couldn’t hear each other. Drinks ok. Very disappointing :(

I went with a large group. Was easy enough to get a table on a Saturday morning in mid September. I had already eaten breakfast because you never know how long it’s gonna take to get a big hungover group to breakfast. The girls did not like their egg sandwiches ! I ordered a Bloody Mary which advertised bacon on it, I did not need the bacon but they did not include it so I asked for it because it was advertised. I had the cocojune yogurt

I had a wonderful time at Bird on the Roof. Happy hour prices were fantastic for a glass of wine and the PEI mussels were absolutely delightful. The vibe was awesome with a casual/smart crowd, some live but not overbearing music, and a 2 minute walk from the beach. The staff was attentive and really went above the call of duty. I will return when I'm back in Montauk.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely not a cheap place for a meal but the food and service were great. Their breakfast sandwich rivals some of the best in Manhattan, in my opinion.

This breakfast place came highly recommended so I was disappointed by my experience. The food was abysmal. The pancakes tasted as if they were cooked in burned/old oil. Even the sausage had the most disgusting, vile taste. It was inedible.

Food, service, atmosphere are all good. It's the prices that kill it and garner 1 star... I mean, per person $21 for 2 eggs and $18 pancakes that comes out to $80+ when you include 2 coffees, tax and tip for 2 people for BREAKFAST? C'mon already, will ya'?

I ordered the jalapeño Marg and it was Delicious, I also got the locks toast it was not overwhelming just perfectly plated. Service was amazing and attentive. I would go back and i deff recommend this place.
Our dinner was great--mussels were delicious in great broth with nicely grilled bread. We had fries and carrots on the side and they were also great. The live music was a really nice addition. The enclosed outdoor space we sat in is pretty charmless.

Our server was great and we had a nice table on the porch. However our food was just average. I ordered a Kale Ceaser salad and it came with just a big bunch of kale with chicken on the side of the plate. It seemed like they just took a bag of kale and dumped it on the plate. My companion ordered the Tuna tartare which was heavily seasoned.

Cliche, but never write reviews. Folks were too friendly, it made me questions some decisions in life. How are people this happy and kind? Drinks were also great, what is going on. Awesome location, close to town center and the food was great, service was too good? Great laidback feel, but a really thoughtful experience. We came on the early side, but felt the charm of the place even more. Sad to go, but know i'll be back. Again and again. All around fun and great value.
