You couldn't ask for more! Excellent service, great food & drinks, and overall fantastic, warm, welcoming vibe. From brunch to dinner, they have something for everyone! A few of my favorite dishes are the soft scrambled toast, the prosciutto platter appetizer, the braised short rib entree, and the (TO DIE FOR) Coconut bread pudding!! I'm going for the shakshuka next time as you won't find anywhere else in Montauk that has it! Bravo to Leo, Chef Marcos, and all of The Bird staff!

THE BEST! Awesome atmosphere, stylish but nostalgic, great food (prosciutto platter and truffle mushroom risotto special), incredible live band (bonus!) and superb staff and service. I mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and our anniversary (without any expectations), and the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us with a handwritten note and many treats. Will 100% be back!

Love love love Bird on the Roof! The food is so good. We had the oysters, the fish and chips and short ribs, then for dessert we had the bread pudding. I’ve been dreaming about the bread pudding ever since. We went for brunch a couple of days later and also didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend you make this your go to when in Montauk.

Hands down one of the best dinners I’ve had in Montauk. Don’t miss the crab cakes or the short ribs. Their take on a kale Caesar is delicious. Coconut bread pudding is to die for. Plus outstanding cocktails and great atmosphere with good live music. Highly recommend ?

This place is amazing!! I’ve been hopping around Montauk all day working my way through all the restaurants as my job requires. I happened to upon this gem because it is owned by the same people that own the motel I stayed in. The family that owns this place are very lovely. I didn’t introduce myself imbut it appears to be run by a young man and possibly sister and they are just very warm and lovely. The cocktails are crafty and well curated. I drank the spicy bird with hibiscus and jalapeño and it was refreshing, bright and not too spicy. The crab cake was great and that kale Caesar gave me the feels. Needless to say, this is THE spot in Montauk. The atmosphere and ambience was great and I happened to show up during trivia night… Just the best place I’ve been to all day and needed to write about it!

A small, well designed menu with a couple of tasty veggie/vegan options. Delicious cocktails, a little different to those you find on most other bar/restaurant menus. A welcoming, chilled and relaxed space with a modern twist.

Came here for a late brekkie and as promised, there was a line But it was well worth it - the staff were accommodating & so friendly! Allowed us use the counter instead of waiting for a table! Had the highly raved egg sandwich & Classic Breakfast and both were egg-cellent! (Sorry had to!) Will definitely revisit :)
