Love love it The staff and scenery is beautiful. Nicest people. As a resident for 41 years we have a gem.

Love the food and friendly service! It's a favorite spot on a beautiful day. Looking out at the marina and sparkling water is a plus.

This place is amazing ! All the employees are so friendly and generous. Music is good, sunset is lovely, and the food is EXCELLENT. Every dish we tried is perfect (especially the smoked fish dip, the soft shell crab tacos, and the fish and chips!). A hidden gem ??

I'm going to give three stars and assume we came on a bad night. Our server was pleasant but was unable to be attentive due to them being understaffed. We tried really hard to be patient and didn't want to make a big fuss but it was pretty bad. You're paying for the ambiance if anything. The lobster rolls were $40 each (mkt price- to be expected) but they weren't good. The bun tasted burnt and the lobster itself was overcooked and tough. It felt like straight robbery when we got the bill. We informed them that we weren't thrilled about the food quality and our waitress said she notified the kitchen, and their response was "sorry" and that was it. Nothing more nothing less. We honestly didn't expect much more than that, so we just accepted that we struck out and went on about our night. (What we had left of it) It took over two hours to complete our meal which was one round of beer, two soups (which I ate with a fork cause they never came back with a spoon), and 3 lobster rolls because of the wait times. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I wouldn't be quick to recommend this place at all.

Fantastic find on our latest trip out to Montauk. Just like another reviewer described, the Gin Beach Cafe is a true hidden gem, or at least it was this weekend now that we're in the off season. The service was great - warm, friendly, welcoming staff who checked in on us and ensured we always had food and drinks. The food itself was quite delicious, I had the Mediterranean grilled chicken pita and my fiancé got the pulled pork off the Oktoberfest menu, the giant Bavarian pretzel was absolutely phenomenal - literally the best pretzel we had, plus it came with great beet cheese and two types of mustard. We'll definitely be back during the summer months and in the fall for the Oktoberfest menu. It's great that there's a local spot with not only great food, friendly staff, but also great views. I recommend it to locals and visitors alike. Can't wait to come again!

Food was unbelievable! The crunchy tuna wrap is the best wrap I have ever had! The tuna was cooked to perfection, the wasabi balance was great and the crunchy spinach was so cold. French fries were delicious and made in house and the smoked fish dip was unreal. Will be coming back soon.

Place has a great view. Food was nothing to brag about. Pasta sauce was bland. Drinks were wayyyy over priced and made horrible. I ordered a frozen Margarita. The sour mix in it was def old and there was no alcohol in it. Husband ordered an old fashioned and the measurements were also terrible. For drinks that were $20 EACH, I’d expect it to taste good.Place has potential but lot of improvements need to be made, especially with training the bartenders.

The food we ordered was outstanding, the service excellent and the water views are terrific. The cost of the meal by Montauk standards is about as inexpensive, ridiculously so, as it could be.
