Order takers are a bit rude...barking where to stand "because we're busy." Food was soggy and greasy; onions/peppers/sausage not chopped enough. Not even toast or bread with it. Herb, who i assume is the one watching over the cash register....had to be asked for utensils. He went to hand me the plastic fork (no knife); dropped it on the floor; picked it up by the eating -end with his fingers and dropped it in my bag. Never again.
Fried chicken was amazing, legit some of the best I’ve ever had.It was quite packed/seemed a bit disorganized when we were there, so here’s a tip: go to the back to order the fried chicken / sides. Once they hand it to you, go check out at the front. You don’t need to wait in line to pay at the deli counter.
Stopped in at Herb's to grab a few things for a picnic at the lighthouse. Busy place, but they take care of their customers. Italian hoagie, Reuben, Veggie sandwich and fried chicken were all very good. Exactly what we needed.
