We paid $65 for a one and a quarter boiled lobster that had no lobster in the claws. I politely asked to speak to the manager but was told new lobsters are sometimes just shell. $65!!!!

We had the seaweed salad, lobster bisque and fried calamari for appetizers, and for dinner, the fish/chips, salmon over quinoa/veggies, and scallops. All were very well prepared, with sizable portions.

We went on a quiet Tuesday afternoon and were greeted as if we were an imposition. Once the server came, we asked a few questions and she referred us to the bottom of the menu that states no substitutions. I ordered a grilled fish sandwich and my wife ordered an ahi tuna bowl (removing a few items she didn't want but not substituting). The tuna came with fish eggs on top which my wife doesn't eat and she asked the server if the description stated fish eggs. She told her it did and walked away. My wife tried to remove them but then got the menu to find that were not listed. Reluctantly, she took it away and remade it. My fish them came out and was fried, I advised I ordered grilled and she simply took it and walked away. The remade tuna came out with spicy mayo on it and although it was ordered on the side, we just kept it at that point. I understand mistakes happen but an apology (or 2) would have gone a long way. I would suggest finding another place in Montauk to eat.

It was a beautiful day and we arrived to be told we could not sit outside and view was same from all inside seats but that's not true of sunset we came to see. Ordered appetizer baked clams oregano . Horrible. A whole clam with over dried bread crumbs. We asked our waitress for recommendations and she had none and said whatever you like to eat. I had catch of the day fish tacos on corn tortilla and my husband had linguini and clam sauce. These dishes were both good. We did not stay for dessert. We felt the restaurant is over priced for the quality and the service. Location location I guess but that changed when not allowed to eat outside , yet bar patrons were sitting outside next to bar? We always loved this restaurant. We have been coming for years, but something has definitely changed. I do not expect to come back.

We love Inlet for so many reasons. Who but true local fishing captains could bring such authentic delicious seafood dishes to tables offering beautiful harbor, inlet and bay views as they do here? They clearly take pride in sharing their day's bounty with the visitors and locals who dine here. The quality and freshness of the food is reflected in the taste. The staff is made up of real, hard-working locals who take the time to make sure our food is prepared to our liking. Make the drive around to the far side of the harbor! The food and the views are worth it!

This is my second visit, I am from the UK however my sister lives about 6 Miles from here. I was really looking forward to returning however my experience this time was not as good. The lady behind the bar was miserable and could barely speak, we ordered cocktails of which there was a good selection and a portion of deep fried squid both of which were lovely it’s a shame she wasn’t so! The view is terrific and there were some lovely people in to chat to, there is a nice vibe in here and I will certainly go back.

Tried to go twice this summer. Tonight we called first to see how long the wait was. They only have a recording. So we drove 20 minutes only to be told they were not taking anymore names, because there was a 3 hour wait. More power to them for not needing to take reservations. Please just answer the phone do people don’t waste their time☹️

The sushi was great, we sat at the bar and the service was great. Ordered the stuffed lobster dinner and the lobster was fresh and tasty, but the guts weren’t cleaned out before the stuffing was added and the stuffing was terrible is tasted like mushy white bread and the seafood that was suppose to be in was not detectable. I’ve eaten here many times and this is the first problem I’ve had.

They said they were no longer serving; the kitchen is closed when we arrived 45 min prior to closing. I will take my money elsewhere in the future.

We visited on a Tuesday evening there was no wait and the view was beautiful. For appetizers we had Stu’s stuffed clams and blackened tuna bites. The clams were large and had nice pieces of clam although they were a bit oily but still good. The tuna was delicious over a bed of rice, large portion could be an entree if they added a vegetable. For dinner we had the steamed lobster dinner, fresh and delicious also ordered the steak. The steak was prepared properly but the cut was a bit chewy. Service and cocktails were fine. Would definitely recommend if you’re in town.

Beautiful views and delicious food! There was a gorgeous small beach behind the restaurant and corn hole to play with the family! I can’t wait to come back :)

We started with Stu’s Stuffed Clams which was a special for the night. These were probably the best baked clams we’ve both ever had. They were flavorful and had generous pieces of clam in them. I ordered the jumbo shrimp and scallop penne and the portion was immense. I ate about half of the dish, my husband had a small plate full, and we took some home to enjoy at a later time. The pasta was excellent and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The only unfortunate detail of the dish was that the tails were left on the shrimp, which was inconvenient. I would still highly recommend the dish. My husband ordered the marinated ribeye, and it was a miss. It may have been just due to personal preference for the both of us, but whatever the steak was marinated it was not appealing to us. The blue cheese mashed potatoes and broccoli that accompanied the steak were both great. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant, but maybe skip the steak or ask what it’s marinated in first. The view from the back deck was very nice, and we had a great experience.

Mediocre food & blah presentation of food. We were seated right away as it was not busy on a Tuesday night, plenty of staff on hand unfortunately some were rude. Ordered the fluke, battered & drowned in a lemon sauce. We asked about the Duck waitress said ‘yes it’s half a duck’, well guess what,, it’s the BOTTOM HALF!!! 2 legs & no breast! Brought that to her attention & was told ‘well, looks like there is no breast’. We had finished our meal, table was cleared except for one person whose empty dish sat in front of them for 40 minutes, we finally got up & put the dirty dish on a clean table….plenty of staff & not busy!….disappointment all around.

Awful experience!! Waitress put two drinks on table - manager watched one dump over and came over to clean it up NEVER bothered to bring a new drink ! When we asked manager to take the drink off the bill she refused !!! Just bad customer service !!!

We didn't stay for the sunset but it is easy to see how it would be a spectacular location to see it from. Views of the harbor are superb! Our dinners were both delicious and plentiful. Fluke Francais and Fish and Chips were both fresh and well-prepared. Cole slaw stood out too! My Sprite, however, had a distinctly off flavor.
