There has only been one other time I have had to send food back. Do not waste your money. The seabass was horrible tasted sour over cooked and definitely NOT fresh. I sent it back and tried the fluke which was better in taste but was water logged and shred apart not flaky. The sushi reminded me of what you buy from the supermarket with the tuna being chewy in texture and very grey in color...probably refrigerated yellowfin...My boyfriend ordered the lobster at 78 dollars and that was overcooked and extremely small. Obviously We did not finish our food. the server still charged me for the sea bass I sent back. The fluke was way cheaper and she said it was only a dollar difference..what a joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THE BILL WAS 225 DOLLARS FOR APPLEBEEs quality food!!

I expected more from a seafood restaurant like this establishment.
Need more flavor.
We had sushi and some other entrees and it wasn’t great.

Could be better, should be less expensive! A not particularly good lobster roll for $44? Rather soggy fish & chops? And a freezing cold dining room! We were looking forward to dining there but left underwhelmed…

We were from out of state and had just visited the lighthouse and were looking for a spot for lunch. Most places were now closed for the season but this restaurant was open. Only the upstairs was open but that was great as it provided an even better water view. It was a good lunch spot and we enjoyed our food and view before the ride back to the MacArthur airport area.

Inlet isn’t just a seafood restaurant in Montauk, it’s a cozy, scenic place to eat where meals are simply yet elegantly prepared. The sushi is as good as it gets, every entree is perfectly cooked down to the last string of spaghetti. The sunset and food are equally delicious!

A good selection of locally caught fish and oysters. Simple and appropriate decor and theme. The outdoor patio seating is quite nice. The clam chowder, lobster, oysters and tile fish were all fresh and delicious.

Only complaint is the music they had on overhead was horrible. GRUNG. screaming and yelling. Did not go with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Check the age of your customers before selecting the music please. Food was outstanding.

The deck view was beautiful, but unfortunately the dining experience was disappointing. The food tasted average at best considering the seafood prices were quite high. What really ruined the meal was the hygiene issue – cockroaches were flying around and even crawled onto the table while we were eating. I spent the entire dinner worried they might get into the dishes. For a bill of several hundred dollars, this was unacceptable. There are definitely better options in the Hamptons. Not recommended.
