Well, the drinks were strong ? We had the best time hanging with the locals. The atmosphere is great and being from the Midwest we loved the cash only system, with your stash for the night left under a coaster with your name...brilliant. The best night of our trip was hanging out here.
All these soft snowflakes giving 1 star for a captains bar. Grow up, best place to grab a drink in after a long day on the ocean. Grow a pair 'girls.' My favorite place to have a drink if I'm fishing in the area.
Liar's Saloon is a great place for locals or anyone that is looking for an authentic Montauk experience, that doesn't involve city people coming just for a season. There's a lot of rich history behind this bar. It's a very local orientated bar, where everyone comes together shares a beer/cocktail and talks about past, present, and future life experiences.
