We were driving around looking for a place for seafood while on vacation, spotted it and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was quaint , clean , and quiet. The server, who happens to be the chef and owners wife, was very friendly and cordial. We got the mussels for an appetizer, they probably were the best mussels we’ve ever eaten. They were big and sweet. The lobster roll was moderately priced compared to other restaurants in the area, and the meat was also sweet and plentiful. All ingredients were very fresh and well prepared. My compliments to the chef. Overall it was a nice atmosphere and great dining experience. We will definitely return when we come back.

Hours say open until 830 pm. Came at 6pm and doors were locked with people inside eating and was told by staff they were closed. And turned away.

Had lobster with linguini and shrimp scampi with linguini. Only issue was the linguini wasn't fully cooked, still a bit crunchy in spots. Great sauces that didn't have too much cream, so they weren't heavy. My shrimp dish was great, shrimp were cooked just right, sauce was just the right texture. Good meal. Reasonable prices. We may have found our new favorite restaurant.

Over priced, calamari was chewy and undercooked, lobster linguine tasted like canned lobster too much garlick.

A good simple, clean place to eat. Gotta love it being right in the middle of town.

I recently went here for lunch and ordered a lobster roll, which is almost $40 and a must-have for me whenever I’m in Montauk. My friend, being vegetarian, ordered the corn on the cob and fries—the only vegetarian option on the menu, recommended by our waitress. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Our waitress was impatient, unfriendly, and lacked any warmth. Worse, she failed to inform us that the corn was boiled together with the seafood, despite being told to be cautious about potential contamination. As a result, my friend, who has severe dietary restrictions, was put at serious risk.

Considering the high prices, we expected much better service and attention to detail. To add to the frustration, I noticed another waitress, a pleasant Spanish woman, serving other tables with a smile and a much better attitude. I wish she had been the one serving us.

If you have any concerns about dietary restrictions or contamination, be cautious about this place and the service you may receive.

Went in last night they told us the kitchen was closed. NO Worries... totally understand we said we be back today. We stoped by today (Wednesday) after 1pm and they are closed. No lights, no people nothing.... no sign on the door to explain why they are closed, if it's temporary due to staff shortages etc.

This restaurant is located kind of in an odd spot (upstairs of a donut store) and on the west side of town. We visited on a Saturday night around 5:30p and there was no one in the restaurant. As we were sitting inside in the AC, a few more parties came.

All the work staff was very nice and attentive the entire duration of our visit. Right away brought us a pitcher of tap water and glasses. When we finished that pitcher, not even a minute later, a new and cold fresh pitcher arrived.

We ordered the crispy calamari to start, which is served with a Thai sauce and a marinara sauce. The calamari was so tasty and the Thai sauce.. yum! We could’ve licked that Thai sauce clean.

We ordered the cold lobster roll (which on the menu is named something different) and it comes with chips. The chips were actually fries, but these were the best French fries I think we’ve ever had. Thin and crispy and flavorful. I like to describe the fries like the McDonald’s kind, but gourmet!
Also ordered the gooey lobster melt, with was practically a lobster grilled cheese. Wasn’t expecting that but also didn’t hate it, but the three types of cheese really did the sandwich so well.

Like mentioned before, all the staff was very attentive and caring, and would recommend this place over and over again.

The food is terrible, the portions are small, the prices are high, and there is no service. There are also racist looks and unfriendly people. I really doubt whether such a store can be successful. I really doubt my life.

I stopped by yesterday to pick up a to go order for two lobster rolls with fries. I placed the order at the bar with one woman. I told her that I’d be back shortly while the kitchen prepared the order. When I returned, another woman was there to accept my payment. I asked her if they accepted Apple Pay. She said yes. She was a mature woman with blonde hair. She had the audacity to manually add a 20% gratuity to my bill on the machine. She did it very quickly. I am thinking she was hoping that I didn’t notice. But I pay attention. So, while she stared at me when she gave me the machine to tap my phone for Apple Pay, I then manually re-entered “0” percent for the tip. And THEN I paid. How dare she! She stared hard at the machine when I did that. I have a feeling that I am not the only person that she does this too. So to everyone paying with Apple Pay, please pay attention at these restaurants! I have no problem tipping when someone provides me with a service, especially when they are my waitress while I am dining, provide me with excellent service, and clean up after me. But NOT when I am picking up a carton of food to go and she wasn’t even the person who took my order. Lastly, after all of that, the lobster was flavorless and didn’t even taste fresh. It tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for too many days and I was soooo disappointed. Even my husband was not impressed.

Had an amazing dining experience at MTK Lobster House in Montauk! I opted for the Surf & Turf Burger while my wife enjoyed the Montauk Lobster Roll, and both dishes were exceptional. The flavors were spot on, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The ambiance and service were equally impressive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch meal in Montauk! ? ?
