Walked in and wasn’t too sure what to expect but MAN. BEST chicken fingers I have ever had. Sweet potato fries were 10/10. Honey mustard was also delish. Perfect snack pre-bachelorette weekend. Would definitely come back.

Solid 5/5, you get exactly what you pay for, and the customer service is friendly. I had a short conversation with the owner where I remarked the Munch Box is one of the few places I remember vividly from my childhood that’s still around. Glad to see it hasn’t changed.

Nice place. Good burger and the French fries were exceptional. Fresh tasting and not some coated frozen mass produced fry but an honest crispy on the outside and creamy inside.Pommel frite superlative.

People who gave this place low ratings don’t get it. This isn’t a high end, trendy restaurant. It’s primarily a take out place. The menu and interior have hardly changed in 40 years and that’s what makes it charming. It has decent food, the fried chicken is great, for a reasonable price.

Very, very greasy. The food is borderline OK. I wanted to try the fried chicken but went there on a Wednesday and the place was closed! Why would a restaurant in a summer destination like Montauk, be closed any day during the summer?
