It was truly an amazing experience. We stopped by on our way back from a drive through the Hamptons and Montauk without a reservation, and every dish was wonderful. In particular, the seafood diavolo pasta was rich with the natural flavors of the sea, and my husband absolutely loved it.
That day, our younger daughter wasn’t feeling well, so we had to leave the restaurant in a hurry. In the rush, I accidentally left my body bag—which contained my wallet and other valuables—behind. The owner kindly kept it safe for me and even sent it to our home address. I called to thank them, but I still felt the need to express my gratitude, so I decided to write this review.
The food was delicious, and the way they took such good care of my lost belongings meant so much to us. I’m truly grateful. This experience made me love Montauk even more, and my family and I look forward to visiting many more times in the future.
Excellent service and the food was delicious. Best duck we've had in years. Our waitress was so helpful and sweet. Would definetly recommend and hope to return again.
We were misled by the relatively high OpenTable ratings for this restaurant. They advertise fresh seafood, but the scallops were dry and flavorless. Oysters were not memorable and arrived without a seafood fork, and 10 minutes before the martini. The martini had apparently been sitting and waiting for those 10 minutes, since it was warm when it arrived. Ordered dry, but it was sweet; with a twist, which was absent. My partner likes a "classic" Negroni, so we said to avoid enhanced vermouth (such as Antiqua). They made it with no vermouth, instead. My partner was unable to eat her gigantic, unsightly, and touch chicken parmigiana (and has reviewed the restaurant separately). I've rated the service as poor because no concern was shown for any of the above. One server seemed to be handling all the tables, but there were 3 or 4 runners. That is why no one asked how things were going at any point. As for atmosphere, we were in a dining room with two large doors to the bar where two large televisions were distracting. The martini did not come from this bar, though, but from somewhere down the hall toward the kitchen (why it was not cold?). Did not hear a cocktail shaker at the bar all evening.
Greeted at the door by a lovely elder gentleman who sat us and checked on us a few times while we dined. We split a delicious Ceasars salad and also a tasty appy of teriyaki chicken Dumplings with a nice spicy dipping sauce. My wife enjoyed her chicken Parmesan over linguine. I reveled in a half a baked chicken with shallot mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. Our waitress Ana was on point. We had a delightful and relaxing time. Enjoy !
The food and service are incredible. It’s a bit pricey, but that’s pretty standard for Montauk. Would definitely come back!

Great food. Fresh fish. Spinach and cauliflower were particularly delicious. Great service
This was mine and my husband's first time at Muse. We will definitely be retuning. We live in Montauk and we wish we had tried MUSE sooner. Great food, prices and service. Additionally, the restaurant is beautiful and at the same timecozy,
My wife and I went for after dinner drinks. Great atmosphere. The people at the bar were super friendly and out going not stuck up like at Harvest. The bartender I forgot grab his name but he was bald with a goat tee. Super attentive, singing along with the songs. I would go back again next time we come out in May.

The food was cold and the service was terrible. It took a long time for the food to come out. I ordered the lobster special. The lobster was ok but the mussels and clams were terrible. The baked potato. Was hard and the corn tasted old. The food was lukewarm at best. The waiter didn't say a word or try to explain why it was taking so long. He had no personality, no eye contact and was not attentive at all. It took a long time to clear the dishes after our appetizer. Not worth the money at all.
We stopped by for drinks, it was a fun vibe. The live music was good. We were surprised to see how much and how often the staff drank on the job. That part was a little off putting.

Friday night is my favorite night to eat at the Muse. They have a musician who is fabulous. The service is excellent, and the food is great.
We travel to Montauk every year and always dine at Muse Food is delicious and the service is always top notch
WORST DINNER IN ALL OF MONTAUK. Had their baked clams from the seafood festival which were great so figured we would give them a try. Clams brought to wrong table first. Clams were drenched in butter or something oily with soggy lettuce. Plate looked gross and tasted nothing like we previously had. Next came the twin lobster tails. She put it down in front of me and I could smell the amonia. Called the waitress over too smell and she wouldn't. Took plate saying she'll talk to the manager who avoided our table rest of night. I want nothing else from that kitchen.
