Ice cream should always be a delightful way to end the day. If this is the experience you are looking for DON'T GO TO RALPH'S in Montauk!! I was there with family and wanted a coffee Ice Cream cone. I was served Java chip which I have enjoyed at other Ice cream shops. I was given a disgusting cone of what tasted like very old freezer burned iced type of thing. I asked the server if I could get something else. She tossed that one in the garbage and made another regular coffee Ice cream cone for me. We got the bill and noticed we were charged for both cones. The prices were ridiculous. 3 milkshakes and what should have been one cone was almost $70 . Also the staff were very unpleasant and rude. No personality, no social skills at all. For the record, if the owner would like to know who was working, my visit was about 5:00pm on 8/13/25

Me and my family were so excited to come after a long hot day in the sun. We ordered a coffee flavored icecream and wound up with a 'cream ice' that tasted like it had been in the freezer for eternity when we mentioned it tasted bad she took the cone back threw it in the trash and that member of my family reordered. After the reorder the rude cashier proceeded to charge us for the stale cream ice thing on top of the replacement. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I debated disputing the charge on my card as we spent nearly 70 dollars and were charged for their stale gross ice mistake. Please give your money to someone else

Service is terrible, the girl was on her phone the whole time, i packed my own order because she didn’t put caps on the icecream or give me a bag, prices are high for a ralph’s and the service is terrible, it’s to be expected- ever since montauk has gone mainstream the service has been shitty everywhere.

Service is unfriendly and the prices are high ($14 for a sundae) BUT the ice cream is good. We got a couple Hot Fudge Crunch sundaes and they were delicious.

Staff is very loving welcoming . Especially staff member Tammy, she's so patient all round inviting .. best service I’ve received

Unfortunately, there are not a lot of dessert options on this side of town, and our kids wanted ice cream, so we decided to give it a try since it was the closest to where we were staying. Just like the rest of the reviews say, service is unfriendly, and prices are outrageous! Spent $31 on 3 small cups of ice cream. Next time, we'll go wait in line at John's Drive-In.

Ice cream was very bland, tasted cheap. The staff acted like giving us any service was the biggest inconvenience and rolled their eyes every time we placed an order.

Server does not listen and rude. Got order wrong and said that’s what I ordered. Charged for takeout sprinkles claiming they were out of regular toppings, when there was a long list of toppings. Way overpriced. No one else was in the store on a busy and warm Saturday afternoon and it’s clear why.

Terrible service. Server does not listen. I asked for a chocolate vanilla twist soft serve in a cone for my daughter and got a tiny vanilla in a kiddie cup with chocolate sprinkles. She said that’s what I’d asked for. Then said they were out of sprinkles but charged $2 for the “extra” takeaway sprinkles. Explicit music blasting and server was wearing AirPods which probably contributed to her inability to hear.

Awful service. Gave my daughter peanut butter in the middle of her rainbow ice luckily, she’s not allergic but I am what if that happened to me??

Worst service I asked for a soft serve in a cone with chocolate sprinkles and she first gave me a coke float with rainbow sprinkles in a cup. Then I told her it was the wrong order and the worker was very rude to me and then remade the order and made it wrong for a second time, she gave me rainbow sprinkles twice in a row. My friend that came all the way from Maryland and was so excited to try Ralph’s and she ordered a rainbow ice. Maybe the most basic order and somehow there was peanut butter inside her ice. What if she had an allergy? This is unsafe and unsanitary. On top of all of this the worker had AirPods in maybe that’s why she continuously got my order wrong. Also extremely overpriced. I never complain if my order is wrong but this was really upsetting people should not be treated this disrespectfully.

Worst ice cream I had ever tasted! I got rum raisins and banana, it’s very sweet and so artificial. Banana so artificial and ended up in trash!
