We had an incredible stay at the sail inn. My boyfriend is in a wheelchair and the place was surprisingly accessible. There’s a handicap spot in the back right near the start of the ramp and the entrance to the hotel room. The sink, shower, doors, and toilet were all accessible. The rooms were recently renovated with AC! It was awesome, highly recommend and would stay again

The Sail Inn is a great little hidden spot. We decided to go for Fourth of July weekend and we were so pleasantly surprised with the Sail Inn. Luca and his mom couldn’t be any nicer. They were amazing. Our room was big and so clean. Newly renovated with a mini fridge, shampoo, soaps, and daily maid service. Great food at the restaurant and we really enjoyed the outdoor bar and live music!! We will definitely go back.

Food and drinks: Last night the restaurant is opened for the summer season of 2024!! Best meal of the season in Montauk. Seafood salad was fresh off the boat! Even the house salad was perfectly dressed, you could taste the greens!! Baked clams, shrimp scampi, garlic bread all delicious. Oh and the chicken parmigiana was amazing. Nothing over garlicky. Portions were perfectly sized so you could order multiple dishes. Wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Montauk perfect!!

Wonderful, wholesome bar and inn. Owners are spectacular and make this place what it is, by not changing too much from the original feel and vibe but adding spectacular food keeps with the old-school sailer vibes with top notch dining.
Food and drinks: Great selection of cocktails, and all of the best liquor and wine. Food is amazing as well. Owner of the Sail Inn is the owner of the famous Elios restaurant in Manhattan.

This review is for the restaurant, not hotel. The new owners are great, very friendly and work hard to have happy customers. The food we tried was delicious, including the fresh seafood salad & meatballs ..both specials & both exceptional. We also tried the eggplant Parmesan & it was the best we ever had. Apparently a lot of the food is from the families fresh garden. Another bonus is live music weekly. Cozy, nice, laid back restaurant with amazing Italian cuisine.. just what Montauk needed. With a bonus of the tasty Italian beer. Highly recommend it here!

One and done. I thought I was on candid camera when the entrees hit the table. I literally looked around for cameras. Full entree prices with tapas portions. Food was very good. Portions were criminal. Not sure how the waiter brought the three entrees to the table with a straight face. Until they see the light and understand what value their competitors are providing, I will not be back. I don't mind paying top dollar for great food, but don't knowingly screw me and smile while your doing it.

Awesome spot in Montauk. Rooms are brand new and we had a comfy king bed. Great food and vibes in the restaurant. We tried a bunch from the menu: the burger, calamari, lasagna, and the local catch à la meunière, and then a deep fried mozzarella and marina situation that was quite enjoyable. Karaoke night was really fun with a great host, and we also enjoyed dinner on a more relaxed evening. Cool drink menu with regular dive classics and more eclectic picks like an Italian pilsner on draft or the house mudslide. The calamari and the meuniere was super fresh and delectable. Burger was really solid double patty situation. Highly recommend a visit for dinner or a stay.

We were just at the bar and grabbed some appetizers and drinks. Loved the new owners and bartender, A great change from the previous owner. Super friendly and welcoming. We just had appetizers but what we had was great. We stopped in just to take a look and we will definitely go back. We can’t wait to try the food with the full dinner order.

Have not eaten here-just went in for drinks. Met the owners-very nice people and I wish them well. I asked around about the food and people were enjoying their meals. If you've been to the old sail inn you feel like you're on another planet. They did a nice job with the place.
