Spend all week looking forward to coming out East for the weekend and my first stop is always Scarpetta for dinner! The service is always top notch excellent and the bartenders are very attentive and skilled. Dan the bartender is the best and makes my dining experience memorable and special. The savory duck would be my death row meal.

It was an A++ meal. Each item was incredible in its own right, and all together formed a lovely outing. Would highly recommend. We ordered the scallops, crudo, branzino, lobster tagliatelle, and espresso budino, and each were fantastic!

I know it's off season in Montauk in March, but a better clarification of appetizers (plus a bit more of a choice: soups?, salads)! Hard to distinguish on the heading-less menu where apps start and entrees begin!! Also an explanation of entrees would be helpful. On a positive note, the breads and accompanying condiments of lemon olive oil, marscopone butter and olive tamponade were delicious! Ambience was pleasing and service was attentive and on point!

Very busy President's weekend Sunday meal. The Lobster Tagliolini Nero was disappointing. Didn't even look appetizing when served. The Braised Short Ribs dinner was much better and tasty. Server was very pleasant and there was plenty of support staff for water, clean-up, etc. Maybe our expectations were too high given the location and price point.

We booked this table on your website through resy with the OPTION of the special price fix OR regular a La carte menu. When we were called by Scarpetta to confirm our reservation for Valentine's Day I once again requested the a la carte menu and that was confirmed. At the table we were told the price fix was the only option. It was embarrassing because neither of us wanted it but we were already there and seated. That was extremely disappointing.

There was a family with a dog sitting at the table next to us, it was not a service dog! I wanted to speak to the manager and leave. My wife said to let it be. Very disappointed that Gurneys allowed the dog in the restaurant

A restaurant space that serves lunch and breakfast by day in another guise is a bad start. The space was uninspired. The portions small, but adequate. The flavors were nothing special. Terrible value for the experience.

While the restaurant was fairly empty the service was sub par. We were offered water and bread quickly. But no visit from a waiter for 20 min. We were then compelled to order drinks and food at the same time fearing would be a long time prior to seeing the waiter again. Then the appetizers came prior to the drinks so we had to ask about that. We waited again. Then asked when we go the first drink for a drink when the e tree was served. They did do this. From then on after voicing our displeasure mildly things got better. The food and ambiance perfect. Generally the service here is top notch so was a bit of a surprise.

the duck is so savory and delicious and the complimentary bread accompanied by a trio dish of butter, olive oil and a tomato gazpacho like dip is chefs kiss! my dining experience is consistently top notch at scarpetta beach. the bartenders are so friendly, professional, and personable. always an amazing evening, meal, and ambiance!

We came for 9:30 seating for NYE and realized we were on the back end of their service. The waiter was great but the main course did not come out for 2 hours, at 11:30 after sitting at 9:30 we asked for the meal and it was good not great. We waited awhile as we realized they were cleaning the dining room more and preparing for the ball drop, my husband was not pleased and asked for the check. The waiter asked if we wanted dessert when he brought the check which seems backwards for the prix fixe plan especially on NYE as it was less than 20 minutes to midnight and the workers were rushing to celebrate and cheers together- which is great they deserve it but was not worth the rez or the price.

Disappointing. Not sure they were ready for the Xmas eve rush. Everything was slow. Good okay but not memorable. System went down so had to pay in cash. Hope 1770 House is open next year!

Great food and a wonderful server! It was quieter than usual but we were a party of six and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was especially nice that they didn't hurry us at all.

Pasta was cold - fish was ok ! Wanted to get a side of chicken and they couldn't accommodate us. Restaurant was not even that busy. We love gurneys but did not really enjoy our dinner
