We showed up (and had been here before) for our reservation, only for the manager to condescendingly turn us away (but did apologize) noting the hotel was under new management so the restaurant has changed, even though nothing online about it and that it's still available to select on Open Table. Said current restaurant only open for hotel guests. Figure yourselves out dude.

Food was excellent, atmosphere was amazing. But the staff was the best part. From the manager to the waiter and cleanup crew. Every person was polite, responsiive, and seemed happy to be of service. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting at the Montauk Yacht Club. We were there for a Safe Harbor Marina event. The food far exceeded our expectation. Service was top notch. They were attentive but not obtrusive.

Half the menu was not even available. I made a reservation here to dine here with my boyfriend— our first time dining with them and I was informed they didn't have the salmon on the menu and so I ordered the lobster and was then advised they actually didn't even have the lobster so I had to go with the cod option. I would have most definitely dined somewhere else if I knew half the menu options I was interested in— wasn't even available. Better options available on the island.

This restaurant is horrible. The food is adequate, but terribly overpriced. The service was bad, as illustrated by the fact that we were served the wrong dessert and spent considerable time getting the waiter's attention to take corrective action. It turned out that the requested dessert was unavailable and, rather than notifying us, we were given something similar — perhaps in the hope we wouldn't notice. We did notice. Shortly after finishing the much-delayed substitute dessert, we were brusquely asked to leave by the manager to make way for other patrons. This was my worst restaurant experience in years. Stay away!

Despite our server who was extremely delightful, the food was tasteless and boring. The chef didn't know how to serve or cook. We were completely duped based on the promotion materials for this restaurant. A great place for a birthday? In fact it was my birthday! Hardly. Also, the menu on line wasn't what we were shown at the restaurant itself. Don't go here.
Steak was poor quality and service was among worst I have ever had at an upscale restaurant. Really disappointed in the evening. It was our anniversary and restaurant did not go above and beyond at all. Very disappointed in the overall experience

This restaurant was closed! We made this reservation weeks ago. And on Monday, the day before our reservation, I received an a text asking to confirm that we were coming. Of course I responded that we would be there. But then the night of the dinner, we found the restaurant closed! What happened? The reservation should never have been taken or confirmed?

Terrible, I don’t know what happened to this restaurant, last year it was delicious.7 of us had dinner here on Sunday night, the restaurant wasn’t very busy.2 people had the cod which was under cooked and fishy. It was inedible.3 of us had the steak. None were cooked correctly, all were served cold with cold rice and French fries.One of the meals didn’t come out with the other 6 and that person had to wait 10-15 minutes before receiving their dish.The waiter was very nice and didn’t charge us for the cod dishes.Any place can have an off night but this was a huge disappointment because last year this place was amazing.
We had a wonderful meal at Showfish for a special occasion. All of the appetizers and entrees were delicious, the drinks were tasty too and the service was impeccable. We especially enjoyed the seafood/squid ink pasta, and the portions were very generous.

We ate dinner (time on this reservation is wrong) and didn't realize there was a new chef and huge changes to menu. Nut allergies beware, nuts throughout , but they were accommodating. Menu pretty scaled down from previous chef with no specials. We ordered pizza from El Fiorno which while tasty was undercooked. View and ambiance still lovely but would not rush to go back with current menu.

We were seated outside which is a nice spot. Unfortunately it was a cool evening but soon the outdoor heaters were put on and solved that problem. We had the mussels which were perfectly cooked and had the right amount of spicyness. We also ate the Montauk codfish which my husband declared it was the best fish he ever had. Overall a wonderful meal.

Expensive night out that's reflected in the creative and delicious drinks and food and excellent service. Gets a bit loud after 8 so expect noise levels to ratchet up during your meal. The view at the bar is one of the best in Montauk. Highly recommend but expect to pay
