This review is long overdue! Wavecrave occasionally supplies every meal of our day during our stay. The atmosphere is warm, and the owner, Steve, is the heart and soul of this operation. He's a back-to-back winner of Dan's Best of the Best Food Truck (2024 & 2025), and won Best Lobster Roll this year (2025)! He's one of the hardest-working and most dedicated people you'll meet, and clearly operates with a huge heart. It’s magical how efficiently he whips...

This spot is a hidden gem! Steve is an absolute sweetheart, and you can tell he pours his heart into every dish. Hands down the best lobster roll we’ve had on Long Island (and we've tried three other places before this). The lobster is genuinely fresh—tender, delicate, and perfectly done. The sandwiches are huge and packed with flavor. A definite must-try!

This is the best-kept secret in Montauk, so I will not be telling anyone about the delicious food, ocean-side location, or terrific service. And I definitely won't mention that this is THE best place to get a lobster sandwich, an Arnold Palmer, and then eat on the beach or at one of the covered picnic tables. Breakfast or lunch - it's all great food, but I am keeping it quiet. You're welcome!
