We ordered 3 things & the total was $51! I usually order from Franco’s but I wasn’t in the area. I was very disappointed when the calamari definitely wasn’t home made. Also 14$ for BARELY any. See picture below. The Stromboli had way too much cheese I was nearly choking. The pizza was actually good. The service on the phone was good as well. She was very polite & read the order back. Just wasn’t happy with the pricing & not having fresh calamari from an Italian restaurant. You can definitely tell they are frozen.

My family and I were so excited when Carmela’s finally re-opened and we all were able to enjoy their amazing food once again! This past weekend it did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the service was 5 stars! Morgan was incredible and spot on for all that we needed that evening! The restaurant has been remodeled so that's nice.The service is okay... We asked for water and it was taken to the wrong table and servers were not around when needed. There were only 4 tables being served at the time.

Idk what this place did with the old carmelas but the food was terrible , wings dry soggy and overcooked , pizza was the wrong order , Ceasars salad had nothing but 1 slice of tomatoes on it and the sauce has 0 flavor . I can't figure out what place took this over but it's not carmelas. Steer clear and go to Vics or antonios , significantly better Italian food.

Used recently for catering. Prices are not equating with quality. I was given two half trays of food with nothing else, not even bread, and the prices were way too high for the quality of what we received. Just incredibly disappointing.

I went the 2nd day of opening with my daughter. We both ordered a veal dish with angel hair pasta. The meal came with a salad. The servers were very attentive despite the busyness of the restruant. The atmosphere was pleasant in the newly styled dining room. The veal was flavorful and tender and the portions were large. We got to take some home for lunch the next day. Can't wait to try the pizza. We were regular customers prior to the fire so we are so happy they are open now. We certainly will be going again to try more of their dishs.!!

This place was always overrated. Always. Waited for ever -to get my dinner "to go" and I had to tell the counter girl she forgot the carrot cake I had ordered (don't order the carrot cake either)! Service was also slow and horrible, and although I tipped this individual- I should have asked for it back, it was really that bad. Go to Ward's Bridge Inn, (down the road) or Tony Boffas, for REAL Italian in Middletown.

Called an order in for 2 dinners. 45 minutes wait. Paid for my order. Wait 45 more minutes. No one has any idea if my order. Then how did you know how much it was? This was your last chance. Will not be back. Nor the 1 st time but certainly the last.

I was very fortunate to have worked with the original owners in dunnellon florida, which was named Carmella’s as well! Ralph and April were great to work for! Ralph taught me how to make pizza and everything else! He was very patient and after a little bit I caught on and was able to become very good at it! To this day I work at a pizza place! Ralph also taught and helped me with many things mechanical especially how to work on my motorcycle! He was very generous to teach me so many things. It turns out he was a true Jack of all trades! Extremely knowledgeable! Unfortunately Ralph passed away 2 years ago! I wish I was still working for him!
