My wife and I love Carmela's for date night. Large menu. Fantastic dinners. The chef does an amazing job with the sauces for all dishes. We also order pizza and drive past many other places to get from Carmela's. Great friendly service. Orders are always accurate. We have catered a house party and they helped ensure the accurate order and helped us load up the car.
This spot was LEGIT. Our home area lacks good Italian food, so we always visit as many spots as possible when visiting the area. Carmela's was phenomenal. I highly recommend the creamy pesto gnocchi and eggplant parm. The local Newburgh beer on tap and house merlot were terrific. My kids loved the pizza and we all enjoyed cannolis. Also, the service was top shelf. We were regularly checked on, but not overbearing. Fast and efficient food delivery. Don't miss this gem.
I stopped by for a slice of pizza and I was so impressed with the thin crust and flavor. Better than NYC! The staff was so friendly and inviting. I will be back for a proper meal very soon.
