Kid-friendliness: When I came in their were these kids and their mom and they were so nice to them and were a place where they can play when their were they can wait for their food if I had kids I will bring them here.

Cute little cozy coffee shop. Great coffee and pastries.
On this episode of Coffee Shop Adventures, we visit Java Blue in Montgomery, NY.
A small, cute little shop, located only a block from another coffee shop we visited last week (Iron Cafe), this place has a warm vibe going on. As you walk in, you're greeted by the people working there (always nice) and a rack or two against the wall with their own brand of raosted coffee, and little things like mugs and little treats.
We ordered the uzh (short for usual), a regular coffee for me, a latte for my wife, and three hot chocolates for the kiddos. They have choices of oat and almond milks for the dairy conscious or lactose intolerant, as 3/5 of us are. (Not me, I can still drink the real stuff.)
It seems they also have every variety of flavored syrups. I was feeling "wintery", so I had a mix of salted caramel and toasted marshmallow
They also sell food and pastries, so we got a mix of things. A couple of fresh baked croissants, a chocolate chip cookie for my daughter, a chocolate croissant for myself and my oldest son, and a chocolate croissant-lke pastry, which I forget the proper name of. It may have had Nutella in it.
The coffee was good, the pastries were really tasty. They have extra tables near the back of the shop so there's room to sit, if that's what you want to do.
The coffee was tasty enough to return for, as well as the pastries. Wish I had more time on these trips so I could try the food, too. It's also a cute little neighborhood, which is nice, because while we didn't love the Iron Café around the block (Starbucks, yuck), this place was worth coming back for.

What a lovely experience. Hot out of the oven cream cheese danish croissant and hot coffee with soft jazz in background?!? Ambiance on point while I watch the sun rise in this sleepy town.
Such a nice friendly place. The owner is so hospitable and welcoming! Made us feel like a family. Highly recommend and the food amazing !!
