Great spot to enjoy a meal. A huge list of beers and ales to choose from and a friendly staff to serve you. Situated in the historic Village of Montgomery near the Walkill River you will enjoy a stroll through the Village either before or after your repast.
I have to write this review in hopes that it helps the owners. I am in Walden a few times a year and it’s been more often lately because of family issues. The first time I came was in August and we sat at the bar. The Bartender working a that afternoon was fantastic to say the absolute least. The pub itself felt a little bit old and in need of a freshen up. The wait staff was great and made the experience of dinner pleasant. Pretty diverse menu options and food wasn't bad. I had a pesto cream sauce salmon which was tasty. Fine for a casual night out with friends but not necessarily a fine dining experience. The bar was a hum of activity.
