when you walk into a restaurant and there are white linen tablecloths and the waiters are wearing ties, then you know you are in for a quality evening. there is a nice roomy yet comfy atmosphere to go with amazing service. the food however is the star. Everything we had was prepared with attention to detail from the chicken ciao bella to the branzino that my uncle had (very fresh). he also had the oysters which he enjoyed very much. my wife had the beet salad which was a meal in itself. can't wait to come back here. what a nice find.

Ciao Bella was the perfect find for our lake house weekend. For context, a group of 9 of us visited Monticello for the first time last week. We couldn’t find a good place to eat until taking a drive and finding Ciao Bella.
Even without a reservation, we were seated almost immediately in their outdoor patio (which is fully heated and lit up beautifully). We were served by very kind waitstaff all night and we loved the atmosphere.
The food was so delicious! We started with their meatball appetizer (not pictured because it was eaten so quickly) and we all got a very impressive entree. Everyone was very happy with their meals, which is great for a sometimes picky table of nine. The portions were great for the price, and it was great to find authentic Italian cuisine in Monticello.
We will definitely be back next time we visit!

From the barbiatola (beet salad), the specials, to the tartufo (desert) with espresso, every morsel was so delightful! I can't wait until we visit up here again so we can return to Ciao Bella!
Dietary restrictions: Ciao Bella was able to provide many gluten free options. Such a rare treat!

Cute place. Authentic fresh Italian food. Staff was attentive and hospitable. They didn't rush us out. We could have stayed and had cocktails all night. Would absolutely go back if we're ever in this neck of New York again. 10/10 recommend.
Setting was upscale, service from beginning to end was outstanding, all servers were very attentive, food was excellent, prices seemed to be along the line of upper dinning As a seasonal resident now I will return when back in the area
I love this restaurant. The food is always delicious. Have been going there for 5 years and have never had a bad meal there . My favorite restaurant. Staff is always friendly . Would recommend it to everyone. You won't be disappointed
Made a last minute reservation at Ciao Bella in Monticello NY. Very quaint & pretty place. Service was excellent. Food was outstanding, but portion sizes small. We had the cheese fritta as an appetizer. 2 triangles of deep fried mozzerella covered in a tomatoes sauce. $17.00. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli (6) special, $30.00. He enjoyed it. Chunks of lobster mixed with cheese. Sauce was delicious. I had the Chicken Martini. 3 small triangles of breaded chicken breast with a sauce that was absolutely outstanding, $26.00. It was served with mashed potatoes and baby string beans. I wish there had been a "choice" of a side, as I would have preferred pasta instead of potatoes. With a glass of red wine (no wine list was offered which seemed strange as the restaurant was lined with racks of wine bottles for ambiance) and glass of Pepsi, the total bill was $97.00 not including tip. Would definitely come back if we are in Monticello. This restaurant did not disappoint!

A perfect dinner in a very cozy place. All of the food tasted amazing. Lots of specials that were just as great. Full bar to choose from as well as great wine selection. Plenty of deserts as well. One thing would mention it would be nice if they fixed the lock on the door to the ladies room.
