This place is very spectacular, benevolent and immaculate. But unfortunately the potato’s r very disappointing it made me very sad and my steak bary bary dry and over cooked. Mannnn very sad :( docking off a star sowwyyy. But immaculate service I do be liking that one very very good. Thank you come again. Oh my goodness not safe ☹️

I've lived in Monticello for years but for some reason never got around to trying the diner. Well, I finally did last night & I was not dissapointed! I tried the country fried steak with sausage gravy. It was delicious! There was a lot of gravy on it which I didn't expect but it still tasted fine. I had some broccoli and home fries on the side, they were yummy as well. The service was great too; the employees were kind. This is a nice little place, I would definitely be returning in the future!

Nice spot. Nothing fancy just nice people and good food. Ordered a blt and the country fried steak with mash. Everything was spot on. Prices were great. Don't have to pay an arm or a leg for good food. We didn't have to wait to be seated but the place did get busy fast.

Not sure what all the great reviews is about. The food was meh and the only thing gluten free is a bun. Not toast! Food is not fresh and quite unappealing with cheapness! Not cheap in price either for what you get!

This is a small town diner with a perfect old school diner atmosphere. The food was excellent, the french toast was very fluffy and very good. Service was great, staff is very kind

I was pleasantly surprised by this diner. The interior beauty harkens back to the classic American dining experience with a hint of extra class found in the wooden liveries and warm lighting. My coworkers and I came in for a late lunch and had a seamless experience that came with well informed recommendations on the menu from the polite waiter whose name unfortunately escapes me. The food was excellent, a healthy mix of classic Breakfast diner options with other home stay meals that were very fair portions for the price.
