Had lunch with friends, and was so pleased with the food (delicious), the service (friendly and prompt) and the atmosphere (cozy and Greek). The traditional lamb souvlaki is scrumptious and the portions are huge. Will go again and highly recommend!

The food is really good and comparing to NJ or NY City prices great. We went twice in 2 days and loved it.. the waitresses are all very friendly and we met the husband and wife owners who come around to the tables.. you will really like it..just so you know it isn't just Greek food.. also American food. First night I got gyro platter and also chicken wings... The chicken wings were as good or better than anywhere..next day we went for lunch and I got an open face roast beef sandwich that was great. I forgot what my girlfriend got because she didn't share with me. Haha

My family and I have been eating here for over 15 years. Authentic, Excellent Greek Food. The Restaurant is small and very homey, very clean and well maintained, the staff is very friendly. Also the Wurtsboro Diner located in Wurtsboro NY is owned by the same owner as Yanni's Monticello NY and has a similar menu with the same authentic, excellent Greek Food and is also very clean and has a friendly staff. I highly recommend both restaurants.

What a fantastic little restaurant. My husband and I happened upon this restaurant on our way to the Finger Lakes region after spending some time in NYC and I'm so glad we did. Very welcoming staff, huge portions of deliciously fresh food, and a cozy atmosphere. The calamari is so so good, and my husbands gyro was amazing. Highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to feel like family while they enjoy a wonderful meal.

Mediocre food, terrible service, served the wrong dessert, $4.00 extra to do sautéed broccoli vs regular, no dressing that I asked for. We won't be back. For Greek food we'll go to Yaisou instead.

I was in Monticello on business and needed a bite to eat that wasn’t a burger. I was hoping for something healthy-ish so I came upon Yanni’s. Good ratings on Yelp and Google great, let’s give it a try. Very nice folks, good service, accommodating but the food was just terrible. I cannot rule everything out as I only tried one dish and the menu is extensive and I obviously am in the minority here so but my god was it rough. For the record I ordered a portobello & goat cheese panini with a side of oven roasted veggies. Sounds pretty good to me but boy was I wrong. Goat cheese is strong flavor and should be used sparingly. Said panini was literally drowning in it- literally. I attempted to dissect that bad boy with the hopes of scraping some of it off to salvage my hunger but no-go. I picked out some of the portobello (which was good) but the rest was shot- the bread was wet from the goat cheese… wet. The roasted veggies came out and looked like puke, wet with juices of I don’t know what as oven baked means (in my minds eye) roasted almost. I say this cringingly as the folks in here were very nice but this by far was one of the worst, if not the worst meals I have ever had. Steer clear if you have a palette as this neighborhood eatery has made me question my adventurous eating streak.
