Our hungry group of five arrived at Althea’s about 1/2 hour before closing time on a Friday night not realizing the kitchen had closed already. The bartender Rai, who was just sweeping up and getting ready to close, welcomed us in and said we could still order from the fried food selection. We had a whole variety of wings, chicken tenders, onion rings, fried green beans, fried mushrooms and sweet potato fries. All delicious and served with a smile & friendly conversation....
Great local place! We stayed at an airbnb for a few days to hike Watkins Glen and it was on the recommended list from the owners. Burger, chicken sandwich and wings were great, reasonable prices.
